Mayowa to me is effective but he isnt a complete player rusher. He is very effective wide gap rusher, but not very effective in a 7 gap. Lawrence is an odd pairing with him as Lawrence has rushed most effectively in his career out of a wide gap on the strong side ( although I do believe one of his sacks so far was from 6 or 7 gap.)

Irving is a great pairing for Mayowa. Is he should be able to rush from a 6 and 7 gap while letting Mayowa come from a 9 gap. This way you dont have to spread your defense out too much leaving you susceptible to counters.

I think when Irving comes back you will see pairings of Lawrence and Charlton and Irving and Mayowa with Tapper and Moore rotating in.

I think that might actually be some good combinations.

So let's track your logic:
Any stat in which Tyrone Crawford excelled must not be a valid stat.

Uh...makes total sense. Who could argue with the rationality of that!

I show you stats that we were above average in sacks. You counter with saying we were below average in pressures. I tell you that is goalpost moving because what good is pressures if you're not getting sacks? (i.e. Tyrone Crawford) Give me the sacks.

We have a nice blend of skills at the end postion. The players have to get out there and do it, but we have the ability to play multiple alignments effectively

It is arguable that pressures are more important or at the least equally important as sacks. Would rather have a qb forcing his throws a higher percentage of time than having all day with a few sacks thrown in the mix.
