Well he added Salems lot in there so I guess long movies or limited series counts.

With that in mind.

Band of Brothers
Shogun

i recalled a poster mentioning and recommending a "Band of Brothers " (premiered on HBO i think)
in the All Time Military thread as well.
i have a friend that's been highly recommending that series to me
as well. i don't think it lasted that long and didn't have the talking legs around town as an absolute must see.

But that's one that i have sought to set aside to see.

Great choices
Aren't those mini series?
So a few episodes compared to 70-100+

Either way, it makes me want to re-watch B.O.B

OK, the question was TV drama series. I would take the TV part of that to mean network commercial television, there are actually 3 possible drama series here to consider. There's TV net MASH, ER, LA Law, there's cable net Breaking Bad, The Shield and there's subscription such as HBO Game of Thrones, The Sopranos.

TV nets have the censors and the FCC to please and are therefore hamstrung in some situations, cable nets get more leeway because it's not considered broadcast and not the FCC's area and the gloves are completely off with subscription and now streaming. Yes, we watch them on that same box but I do not view them as playing on an even playing field.

Think of Game of Thrones on network TV, doesn't work, does it?

So, would the OP please categorize the 3, I will name the winners and the mods can close this down. I hate to be this way but my opinion is the only one that matters here.
