Sherrard played in only one season for Dallas due to his injuries. Joey Galloway, Kelvin Martin, Keyshawn Johnson and probably a few more guys did more for the Cowboys.

Sherrard was a coulda shoulda only. I'd drop him off the list as well as TO, and Terry Glenn as I want a more complete body of work with just the Cowboys. If Dez learns better routes and controls/channels his emotions he could be in the top 3 ever here. Not a bad place to be IMO.

The greatest wr throughout the NFL may have had different attributes physically but they all have one thing in common and that is great concentration and focus pertaining to catching the ball.

This area is where Dez needs to improve.

Terry Glenn was the man

Not really. He was good, but not great. He missed more games than Austin. I recall several times where he missed catches that ricocheted into interceptions. He also disappeared in the big games.

Hee only played 2 seasons with the Cowboys putting up less than 700 yards and 4 TD's. I wouldn't add a player to a list of Cowboy greats who's best years were spent in San Diego and went into the HOF as a Charger.

As the last Otto Stowe fan alive I still believe he could have been a force if not for his injury.

I agree I remember him he reminded me of Paul Warfield. He only played 7 games for the Cowboys in 1973 which was his only season in Dallas but he looked terrific catching 23 passes for 389 yards and 6 TD's. I spent years wondering whatever happened to him. Information wasn't nearly as easy to come by back in those days. Drew Pearson arrived that season and I just assumed he beat him out. Stowe went onto Denver in 74 spending only 8 games there before retiring. Below is an article for those who don't remember him.
