I am probably going to purchase tickets to the Atlanta game. Any advice from the natives on where the best place to stay would be?

I'm not a native but I stay in DFW hotels regularly, though not near the new stadium. Noticed you like fishing. The Embassy Suites Grapevine is attached to a Bass Pro Shop. Room to spread out and the rate includes their cook-to-order breakfast. The Gaylord is more expensive but it is off-the-hook, with a great sports bar inside the hotel that is frequented by players throughout the week.

You might also want to check out the Hyatt Place on Spring Valley Road. About 2 blocks from the Galleria and their prices also include breakfast in the morning.

From my experience...

Best value: Fairmont. Very close to a top end hotel, but reasonable price.

Best hotel: Crescent. One of the best I've stayed in, but certainly overpriced.

OMG! I could spend a day in one of those places!

Since you frequent, do you have any thoughts on a nice restaurant where I could take my wife out to dinner???

Prefer a classy joint, don't care about price.

Thanks for the advice SB (and Casmith)!

Thoughts Theo? Something tells me you know a thing or two about fine dining?

I'm not a foodie, but I really like this place next to the Four Seasons in Las Colinas: http://www.viareal.com/

But not too far from the hotels I mentioned is my favorite haunt when I'm there on business: http://www.feedstorebbq.com/

We really like Nick and Sam's. There are plenty of good steakhouses, however.

You could book a package through us , www.cowboyscorral.com , which includes lower level game tickets, hotel stay (Embassy Suites in Irving or Gaylord Texan, your choice) , autograph session, stadium tour, and transportation to and from all events. Let me know if you have any questions.
