Browns finally lose another game....a total of 5 now.

One loss will mean a heck of alot for the talent level in the draft.

I sure hope they get at least two more:bang2:

I really believe Mr Jones will trade up in 08 and pick an exciting game breaking type player.........:starspin

Unfortunately, I think they go 2-2.

Beating Jets and 49ers and losing to Bills and Bengals.

if the Browns lose out and the Niners win out, I believe we have a chance to actually draft ahead of the Patriots.

Crazy, i think if you polled GMs and Scouting Directors you'd find every first round has 2 levels and you quickly get into that second level as you move towards and out of the top 10. Most drafts, it's hard to tell the 14th guy from the 22nd guy from the 28th guy. I want Cleveland to lose like everyone else, but it doesn't really matter now. They aren't gonna lose the next 4 so we'll be in the 20's somewhere and that's that. The talent will all be pretty much the same in that general area come April. Our real hope for a 3-5 win type season from the Browns was gone long ago so i quit worrying about it a month ago. But hey, maybe we can improve 5+ spots if they hit the skids?

I would take 2-2 in a heartbeat right now for them. Their schedule looks pretty rosy.

I don't know... the Jets finished last year strong with their coach and they seem to be getting stronger as the year goes on this year. They aren't good by any means... but they could pull an upset.

The bills are capable of doing it. Their offese isn't good but the Browns defense is bad. The bills defense has a pretty good rush and plays pretty good from time to time.

The 49'ers? Well, it'd be a miracle for them to beat the Browns.

Cincy? Who knows? They just might click that day.

Never give up hope!

Yep, it really wouldn't surprise me, especially since they will likely be playing for a shot at the playoffs.

I can see them losing at NYJ ,vs. Buf and maybe even Cinci.

The Browns in the playoffs are hardly a done deal yet.

If Buffalo can beat Miami, Cleveland and the Giants or Philly, they'll have a shot as well

You bring up some very good points, however the better the pick the higher the pts attached to it for trading purposes which I believe Mr. Jones may try hard to trade up this year for an impact RB, WR, or CB.

Not that it would have helped our draft position, but they got screwed on that Winslow catch in the end zone. That was a lot like when TO got forced out against the Bills and they didn't call it... and it's not reviewable. It was an unbelievable catch.

No trading up for picks. We need both our 1st rounders. We can still get impact players with those picks.

How could the Browns beat the Jets, Bills, or Bengals when they just lost to that middling team from the JV Conference?
