Per TSN. Please re-read that first sentence. Per TSN. Not per me. PER TSN.
Got it? Ok....
1. 49ers
2. Cowboys- The team watns Terence Newman to take the final step toward stardom. Anthony Henry (6-1, 208) is a big corner with good ball skills. Nickel back Aaron Glenn is solid but struggles with deep balls.
3. Eagles
4. Packers
5. Buccaneers
6. Bears
7. Vikings
8. Panthers
9. Falcons
10. Commanders
11. Seahawks
12. Saints
13. Rams
14. Cardinals
15. Giants
16. Lions
Top 5 CB's.
1. Nate Clements- He gives the 49ers a shutdown corner to cope with the receiver-rich NFC West. Big, strong and quick, he can smother wideouts and make plays-he has five career TDs off interceptions. Plus, he has played in all 16 games in each of his five seasons.
2. DeAngelo Hall. Though he slumped a bit in 2006, he has special talent and is a player offenses must always account for. He has ideal speed, quickness, and fluidity.
3. Ronde Barber- Yes, he has lost a step, but he never had special speed anyway. With his elite tackling skills, instincts and ability to close on the ball, he remains a great fit in the Bucs' cover 2 and a top playmaker who scored twice last year.
4. Lito Sheppard. With 14 interceptions and three touchdowns over the past three years, he has become one of the NFC's top playmakers. He makes up for his lack of elite speed with smarts and aggressiveness.
5. Antoine Winfield. Despite his lack of size (5-9, 180), he is very physical and is one of the best run support corners. He also has improved his playmaking skills- he has 11 interceptions over the past three years.
Again, per TSN.
