Statistically, no. But he wins, he's clutch, and he leads. He reminds me of Aikman without the sick accuracy. Forgoes stats for the sake of winning. Maybe, I'm wrong. But I would take Roethlisberger over any QB in the NFL except Manning and Brady. This includes Romo, Brees, Rivers, anyone else. I hate the Steelers (mostly coz their fans are mind-numbingly annoying), but I think Ben Roethlisberger is an elite Qb that is also a top25 player in the niffle.

I agree. He's a hell of a quarterback.

He can be quite ugly in the way he plays, but he always seems to come through. Doesn't matter if he made an ugly throw, interception or took a terrible sack a minute ago, he always seems to respond with a sick throw, a clutch play or eludes some defender in an unreal fashion.

I hate that he won a Super Bowl in one of the worst performances ever, hate that he got Pittsburgh a sixth ring and find him to be rather prickish. But he's one helluva quarterback. He showed me a lot last season, especially.

I don't think it's a reach to say he's the third best in the league either. I'd gladly take him over Carson Palmer or Drew Brees, the latter of which I find to be a Romo clone at this point (a guy who puts up huge numbers, gets his team wins, but isn't exactly getting deep into the postseason. He has one career playoff win if I'm not mistaken, and is like 30 years old.).

You have not seen enough of AP then. There is NO question AP is the better back....none.

Some people would take Barber over AP? Scary. Barber is a top 5 back to me though but Peterson is on some other stuff.

QB's
10. Tony Romo, Cowboys.
Only a complete ****** would believe there are 9 QBs better than Tony Romo.

Tom Brady > Manning, in my opinion. But it's close.

Who would you have higher than Tony?

Peyton
Brady
Roethlisburger
Cutler
Palmer
Warner
Rivers?
Donovan?
Brees?

I'd put Tony no lower than 7th...probably higher.

Yeah I put him in range of 7th-11th or so.

I think the list you posted is one that many would assume but with minor changes based on preferences...maybe someone out there would add Rodgers or a healthy Hasselback and take away someone else, for example (Rothy?, Cutler?, McNabb, etc). But generally I say somewhere in the 7 to 11 range.

I think very soon, Matt Ryan will be top 10...just have to wait a few years for him to grow into it.

I'd put TR over Cutler, McNabb, Palmer, and he is a SB away from passing or at least being seen as equal to the likes of Roflburger, Rivers and Brees.
His big knock is the lack of leadership and winning the big one. Once that is squashed....
