People will wonder for the next decade: Who is the better QB?Who would you rather have, Dak or Wentz?

What I love about this debate is the simple fact that we are getting amazing QB play for a fraction of the cost Philly paid to draft Wentz. The real question should be: Who would you rather have: Dak and Zeke or Wentz?

Heh heh... this draft class is shaping up to be one of the best ever, and that's without Jaylon Smith even stepping onto the field yet.

Philly didn't end up paying as much as we had all hoped to get that QB. Bridgewater getting hurt was a windfall for them.

Yah-- the trade bailed them out some for sure. But still-- that is (late) 4th round draft pick outplaying every other rookie QB (and many vets!) in the league.

Wentz vs Zeke is the real debate since they were both top 5 draft picks. I think we won that one straight up. Zeke has vision, power, speed, and a nasty attitude. They said he was the next AP-- right now that looks to be the case. If he stays healthy-- this kid could go down as one of the all time greats. He has that kind of talent.

I think that they're both going to be really good QBs - probably the next great QB rivalry.

However, it's too early in their careers to determine which one is actually better.

It could have played out for Dallas to get Wentz and Henry which would have been a decent draft as well. Having said that I love our rookies and would not change a thing!

It depends.....because as of right now the Vikings look elite.....and the jury is out on the Eagles. That Vikings pick will be far worse than their pick but the Eagles recovered some from Bradford trade.

If you remove Prescott from the equation, Wentz versus Elliott straight up would absolutely tilt towards Wentz. You always take the franchise QB over the franchise RB.

We have the luxury now of possibly having the franchise QB already so the equation is different. But man on man, if we didn't have Prescott, and you had a choice between Wentz and Elliott, only a Zeke homer would take him over a legit franchise QB talent.

The Wentz pick was bad today. He got greedy and paid the price.
Not only that but Wentz throws under 10 yards on almost every pass. When he threw that ball feel I knew it would get picked. He flirted all day with a pick even on short throws but defenders kept dropping them. All season he has been lucked out by drops and paying with fire finally got him.

Dak is much more calm and poise then Wentz is. Dak is more accurate as well. Wentz first touchdown was so low Matthews almost didn't catch it. His second pass was so high Dorial almost tipped it

I would say that too but you have to add that we got Zeke and Dak for what the Eagles got for Wentz and I will take that any day.

Actually it's Wentz vs Dak, Zeke, Collins, and our 2018 2nd round pick. I didn't include next year's first since Philly recouped that with the Bradford trade.
That's a separate deal. You still have to count that first cause we didn't have a Bradford to get a first for

I'm a Romo guy...

That being said, you don't replace Dak...

I remember Morton/Staubach back in the day...

The best part of the debate is that it was completely unexpected, and if you're the Cowboys, you can't really lose.

We drafted 4 starters this year. That's phenomenal.

Time will tell who the better QB is. Right now I'm just enjoying watching Dak play.

Yes they still did... We didn't have to trade Romo to recoup draft picks. If Wentz goes down who do they have? If Romo goes down who do we have? That's right.. Dak, our 4th rnd pick. If by some chance Dak doesn't lose the job, who do we have when he goes down? That's right, Romo who's won a lot of games in this league and still a top 7 qb.
