Actually it's Wentz vs Dak, Zeke, Collins, and our 2018 2nd round pick. I didn't include next year's first since Philly recouped that with the Bradford trade.
Do we have any idea what potential steals involving critically injured or ill players are going to be around in next year's draft that could fall into the second for us?

Morton was an ELITE QB... Staubach had that something...

Even back then we knew...

Not only that but Wentz throws under 10 yards on almost every pass. When he threw that ball feel I knew it would get picked. He flirted all day with a pick even on short throws but defenders kept dropping them. All season he has been lucked out by drops and paying with fire finally got him.

Dak is much more calm and poise then Wentz is. Dak is more accurate as well. Wentz first touchdown was so low Matthews almost didn't catch it. His second pass was so high Dorial almost tipped it

Well his creamy rookie center showed today. The situation, clock, score and down/distance did not call for anything like that deep pass.

Over the course of a decade what Philly paid will be an afterthought. QB play is a prerequisite to being a contender year in and year out.

Many teams will waste more trying to get a QB. Look at the Browns, they've sunk a lot and have nothing to show.

If you remove Prescott from the equation, Wentz versus Elliott straight up would absolutely tilt towards Wentz. You always take the franchise QB over the franchise RB.

We have the luxury now of possibly having the franchise QB already so the equation is different. But man on man, if we didn't have Prescott, and you had a choice between Wentz and Elliott, only a Zeke homer would take him over a legit franchise QB talent.
The equation is more like Dak, Zeke, Collins, Smith vs Wentz. Don't think that's close. How bout that DL today?

People will wonder for the next decade: Who is the better QB?Who would you rather have, Dak or Wentz?

What I love about this debate is the simple fact that we are getting amazing QB play for a fraction of the cost Philly paid to draft Wentz. The real question should be: Who would you rather have: Dak and Zeke or Wentz?

Heh heh... this draft class is shaping up to be one of the best ever, and that's without Jaylon Smith even stepping onto the field yet.

Absolutely, this is shaping up to be one good draft class. Love the fact that, DAK, Wentz and Lynch are succeeding. Its good for the NFL and good for football fans.....there has been a whole lot of terrible QB play in the NFL....it is about time we got some QB's we can be excited about....just dont see it in Winston, Taylor, Cousins, Tannahill and Mariota....they just dont have the it factor

Yes they still did... We didn't have to trade Romo to recoup draft picks. If Wentz goes down who do they have? If Romo goes down who do we have? That's right.. Dak, our 4th rnd pick. If by some chance Dak doesn't lose the job, who do we have when he goes down? That's right, Romo who's won a lot of games in this league and still a top 7 qb.

Not really.

It's hilarious because you were one of the ones who said Bradford sucked when he was going to be the starter. Now he was a key piece they traded away.

You can't have it both ways.

Fact is the Eagles made out like champs. Maybe not as good as we did but they got their franchise QB and they were able to recoup some of what they gave up. You have to be completely biased to not at least give them props.

The poster I responded to said that even man on man, Elliott is a win over Wentz. It's not. If you are just comparing those two, you always take the franchise QB.

It's even a Wentz versus Elliott thing. It's an always take the franchise QB type over the franchise RB type argument.

The fact that he is having success with the Vikings doesn't change the fact that he sucked with the Eagles. That doesn't change that they had to trade a potential starter in order to recoup their draft picks that's the same as if we traded Romo and stayed with Dak except we don't have to trade Romo because we only gave up a 4th for Dak and still have the guy that would have started. But keep writing your own version of revisionist history in order to fit your fantasy world.

He had terrible clock management all day. 2 or 3 delay of game penalties. One in the redzone and 1 on crucial 3rd down
