Who do you think is the best slot WR in the division?

Cowboys: Beasley
Commanders: Crowder
Eaglrs: Matthews

Crowder appears to be a more explosive player than Cole but I like my slot dudes in the mode of a Wes Welker. Give me a chain mover that provides the occasional TD every time. Cole is a machine this year and has been one of the saving graces of this offense thus far. It's telling for me that I think - at this point - I would be tripping harder about losing Beez than almost any other skilled player at this point (outside of Zeke). He has become Dak's Witten - aka "security blanket"...that stated, given how keen defenses have become on stopping him in the short passing game, i would love to see him run some out and ups/stop and goes in the coming weeks. I think we would bigtime burn teams with a bit of that in his repertoire. I love me some Cole!

Agreed. Beas tends to run better routes and is always open. Crowded is more explosive on deep plays

Slot WRs are typically elite route runners, couple that with Beasley's superb agility and start/stop quickness. If it's not Beasley then maybe Edelman

the other WRs mentioned so far in this thread don't even come close to the route running and start/stop quickness of Beasley / Edelman

I love Beasley, but the other guys have position flexibility. Beasley functions the best as the slot but not so much as an outside receiver. The others ( esp cruz) can man multiple positions.

Now with all that said, I love me some Beasley. He is so freaking clutch. When he catches the pass, I feel like he's gonna get the first down every time. Plus I love it when underdogs succeed. Short - no problem. Thin - no problem. He's got the biggest heart of all the receivers- yes even over Dez so you bash me all you want, I'm not changing my mind.

Beasley is finally becoming an elite slot WR in this league. The only problems he had in the past were consistency and fumbling.
