I would just like to see a TD or 2 that would be exciting, the dance does not do a thing for me but then I'm just a football fan.

Atleast I didnt start a Merriman vs. Ware thread:lmao2:
I'd yawn at that too. We've had at least 2 dozen threads about how he should celebrate his TD. He hasn't even gotten in the endzone yet, but it's all planned out and choreographed. Badly I might add.

Would you be disappointed if he didn't celebrate a TD all year? I wouldn't be. All I care about are the points on the scoreboard.

Player celebrations are usually boring. Every now and then something is funny. It's so rare that something is funny that looking forward to it is kind of pointless and irritating.

I don't care if he scores all year. I don't care if he doesn't celebrate. All I want is for him to contribute to wins. So far he's doing that.

lighten up Hos, the game is supposed to be fun, the NFL shouldnt restrict TD celebrations. i too cant wait to see what TO would do if he scored this weekend.

Minor correction. He got a TD in the Jax game, but I understand what you're saying.

Personally, I don't mind celebrations depending on what they are.

I loved Irvins celebration. And I loved Deion's high-step into the endzone along w/his lil two step dance. But check this Deangelo Hall actually did Deions TD celebration last week. I guess as a sign of respect, but it just seems he's trying too hard to be the next Deion.

Anyway back to the celebrations, it just depends. TO's pom pom celebration was actually cute. Horn's cellphone TD celebration was weak.

The NFL is fun, many of us love the game of football played at it's highest level. Dancing however has nothing to do with football personally I don't care what he does or any player does on this team as long as he is not drawing a flag that could hurt the team.

I was talking about against the Eagles. He hasn't even scored yet and already his celebration is being scripted.

I don't mind celebrations, but they just aren't important to me either. I openly admit, Chad Johnson cracks me up. But if he was a Cowboy I wouldn't be starting threads about what he should do next.

Commenting after the fact...hey if you're entertained or repulsed and want to talk about it, no sweat. This stuff is pointless.

I didn't say the NFL should restrict the celebrations. I disagree with them on that. I don't deem them important enough to script ideas for a player though. Let them be the creative ones and we can laugh or boo what they come up with.

Got no problem with your comments...

I honestly thought this was a thread about overall TD celebrations until I opened it. But then I should've noted the original poster, an unabashed TO fan, as my first clue. :)

For the record my all time favorite TO celebration was his impersonation of Ray Lewis which I thought he hit dead on. I laughed at that one.

I say, after he scores he takes a pretend bottle and screws of the cap and swallows a bunch of pills then falls out in the endzone....This after the crowd keeps chanting O.D.........

Gotta say that one was great, too... I'm not sure anyone can top it. It was just too classic. To take somebody's overexposed schtick and hit it so solidly was great.

If he didnt celebrate all year I would be fine... but if he did McNabb's dance then McNabb being the baby that he is... would be steamed and come out and throw 3 INTs:D

That would be a good one or stand on the eagles logo. I just know when he did that against us, i got pissed off. I liked the little dance Julius did, but too many players were in the way.

Well, i think if he went to the middle logo a city riot would break out, i am thinkin the small endzone logo. I’d be happy with that. :p:
