14.JetsDarrelle Revis, CB22.BrownsBrady Quinn, QB23.ChiefsDwayne Bowe, WR

All of them were high on nearly everyone's cowboyszone draft boards, but look at them now, unsigned rookies.

Rookie quarterback Brady Quinn missed his fourth day of training camp Monday in a contract holdout that shows no signs of ending anytime soon for the first-round draft pick.

Quinn also missed the club's rookie orientation program last week.

I am glad we have all of our rookies in camp and on the field!

I like Revis and Bowe and would still draft them. I don't like Quinn anyhow. He will be a bust. Mark it.

Revis is unsigned mainly because the Jets are trying to force a six-year contract on him.

While I am not going to declare Brady a bust... his dilema is because he wasnt drafted in top 10.... so he has to claw and scratch for all he can get... trying to get closer to top 10 money... wont happen but every little bit counts

Honestly though, the Jets and Chiefs have always been hard line negotiators. Carl Peterson in particular with the Chiefs is a real prick to negotiate with.

You kind of had to see this coming with Quinn too...he is going to argue that despite his draft position he should be paid in a higher slot.

It looks to me that Brady Quinn's situation and money should match J.P Losman.

Both invlove the Cowboys coincidentally.

Both were picked in lows 20s Quinn 22 and Losman 23?

And both picks were not just #1s at 22-23 pick but one could also argue they are a 22 AND next year's #1.

So their value is 2 #1s.

Anyone know what Losman got? It should have been more than just 23rd money.

It seems pretty cut and dry. The hold-up doesn't make sense when there is already a precedent IMO.

Look at it from their point of view: Would YOU want to play for the Jets, Browns, or Chiefs? Didn't think so...

The Jets and Chiefs for sure...I cannot imagine it getting better than winning in NY...the Jets are close. The Chiefs fans are great, one of the best, if not the best, crowd in the league. You are the big fish in a little pond there.

Now if it were the Lions...

2 #1s minus a 2nd round pick

All 3 are still loser organizations. I wouldn't mind living in either city, but playing for those teams are totally different. The Browns are one of those teams that are destined to suck. The Jets will always play second fiddle to the Giants, and the Chiefs always find a way to fail no matter how good they look on paper. Would I play for those teams if I were good enough to get drafted? Yes. Would I want to? Nope.

Actually, I would compare him to Aaron Rodgers, who some projected to go top ten and ended up mid 20's. I don't remember him getting any more money.

I think the above is close to how they should be valued.

Then this clears it up a little better. I agree.
