You should have seen the Monday game thread when the Denver game started and they had that female announcer.

The hueing and crying was epic. You'd think it was the end of the world. For a minute I thought Kim Jong Un had fired off a nuke.

I had to get out of CZ and just watch the game.
I'm glad I missed it.

(One more comment about last week's game and I'll keep it focused on Denver.)

Collinsworth- talking about how great NY's slot corner was after Beasley's caught the ball and turned him around for about a 15 yard gain.

And this one: (My favorite play of the game just because of New Yorker Al Michaels' call. Dak takes a snap from the shotgun formation starts retreating and the Giants are rushing, Micheals says, "here come the Giants!" and Dak tosses it to Zeke who runs 30 yards. I actually said to my wife (she watches the games with me), "and there goes Zeke!"

...and there goes Zeke! Love it, LOL...

In fairness to Al Michaels...I think he understood there were millions of Giants fans poised to turn off the game and go scrub their toilet bowls. He was trying valiantly to inject a sense of competition to a non-competitive game.

If you actually listened to CC, you would have heard that all the compliments that were given in DRCs direction, were indeed COLE BEASLEYS words and CC was quoting him ...

Good one, OP

I lived, for years on Hollywood Blvd, just two blocks from Graumann's.
Hated the place. Made Zero friends and learned... I learned a lot.
Man, do I love Texas.
Yeah, I'm about 7 miles from that spot, over the hill on the other side of Studio City :)

I'm selling and moving to Rhode Island (most likely) when the boy turns 18

Problem was she was horrible...as was her colleague. ESPN's entire production was flush-worthy. Bad audio mix, off etc. etc.

ESPN can't do Pro Football right...or much of anything these days.

Make sure The Boy knows what living in L.A. is all about...
I have the most insane stories of my life from living there.
None I can broach upon this site. I was arrested for picking up a friend at a cock fight... fell into a room with a Hilton... Saw celebrity on celebrity gay actions (that you would not guess) in bar bathrooms...
Saw piles of coke and weed on tables for all to partake in...
Seen directors you know talking to young boys in ways that would creep anybody out...

I worry about The Boy... although I know you put a good head on his shoulders.

Last year they had Chris Berman doing the second MNF game and he was beyond horrible too. He's a legend to many in the studio but was a mess calling a game live.

He spends his weekdays in Glendora, about 20 miles east of here with his mommy. Gorgeous, small town. I have him Friday-Monday alternating with Saturday's-Monday. He's an honor roll student and wants to be LEO :)

He's a great kid. We do go to Hollywood every so often and walk down the BLVD and eat at Hard Rock (for the life of me, he loves that damn place LOL), but he's always by my side :)

There is a great BBQ spot over in that area I believe "Uncle Andre's" I am down in San Diego, but when I get up to LA, I try to get over there. Great BBQ.

Hmm. Will look it up. Thanks, man. We have several spots out here, too. My son just loves all the music on the walls, the guitars, etc at Hard Rock, but, for me, the BBQ is very chain-restaraunt'y

Have you been to Bludso's??
