I guess all those far NE states are next door, so touché :)
You can drive through 8-12 states, or drive through Texas to get to the nearest HEB.
It's all the same to us...

I would drive through the equivalent of two states, when I was a punk, just to get to the right party in Texas and it was nothing.

Why can't some network bring back Madden for a prime time game, just out of respect for him and for nostalga sake. Be way cool. Like a Thanksgiving game. He's 81. Unless his memory on basic NFL stuff is gone.

When my Cowboys are losing or if it a close game it almost always begins to aeem as though both announcers hate the Cowboys.

Every favorable comment towards an opponent player is a back handed insult. Any expression of excitement is the joy of watching my team suffer.

My oversenstivity as a result of my Cowboys struggling is like a fire and any comment by announcers descibing their ineptitude is rocket fuel. They hate my Cowboys and I hate them.

That even goes for ex-Cowboys, it's like they are not the same people.

Troy is honest, a favorable attribute now that the Cowboys have improved. However, it was downright traiterous when they were the epitome of parity in Garretts first years.

During thay same period, Moose Johnston misplaced some I.Q.

As for the rest of the players now in the media, it would seem downright vindictive, like they were making up for all those times as a player when the Cowboys tormented them. Or, perhaps they were jealous of their popularity.

However, nowadays there are onky a few that seem to go out of the way to express bias. Most are trying to give their real assessment of a player.

In the end, I am annoyed when the Cowboys are struggling. Theae announcers are the messengers so, let's escort them out to the firing squad.

I've been there, emotionally. I understand where you're coming from. Every word.
Now I don't listen anymore. I play music during games. My play by play and color goes on in my head. Which I, of course, relay to my wife who is like: Okay... YAY! Kiss me...

I may be in the vast minority here but I really like Al Michael and Collingsworth. I think they call the games fairly without bias. Michaels raved about Dak all last year. As Cowboys fans we are fortunate because we usually get the top broadcast teams due to the Boys' popularity. If there is something to complain about it's listening to the lower-tier announcers. The drop off is significant.

(One more comment about last week's game and I'll keep it focused on Denver.)

Collinsworth- talking about how great NY's slot corner was after Beasley's caught the ball and turned him around for about a 15 yard gain.

And this one: (My favorite play of the game just because of New Yorker Al Michaels' call. Dak takes a snap from the shotgun formation starts retreating and the Giants are rushing, Micheals says, "here come the Giants!" and Dak tosses it to Zeke who runs 30 yards. I actually said to my wife (she watches the games with me), "and there goes Zeke!"

Then again, maybe as a fan you're the one who is biased and anything positive about the other team is "anti-Cowboys" to you?

Nah, that couldn't be it.

Dude, just googled, it's 2.5 miles from in Studio City! Might check this spot out, thanks.

Check out the menu online and call your order in. Seriously it takes about an hour if you walk up and order.

Age has put Madden out of commission.

Al micheals is a Los Angeles dude. Has nothing to do with New York.
Born in Brooklyn. Lived there till he was 14. Most of us have our sports team loyalty established by that age. Speaks with a New York accent, my money would be on him liking the Giants.

Negativity and bias will be rampant as we continue to win.

It comes like the leaves turning in the fall.

You just watch it and pickup the leaves.

You think he favors the giants over other teams because he lived in Brooklyn till 1958? Speaks with a New York accent...so what? So does chuck Cooperstein and is the mavericks play by play guy does he favor the knicks when they are here.

You are being ridiculous, al is one of the all time greats. He has always been great to the cowboys through the years.

I get that this is about more than football from the way you are speaking but still, Al Michaels has. Ever favored a team or given bias. He is a damn legend.

Dak motioned Zeke out wide, and then motioned him back into the backfield to draw the safety into the box from man coverage.

He threw the screen without audibling for an easy gain with nobody in the secondary, essentially.

ELITE.

If you guys want an example of biased announcers go listen to the Commanders radio team. They are not only biased but completely unprofessional.

For no reason recently I decided to listen to the cowboys Washington game on thanksgiving from last year, I listened to the Washington broadcast. On nfl game pass they have the Washington pregame. Chris Cooley went into a ten minute rant about why he hates Dallas and everyone in this area. He said he hates the stadium, all the people that work here and then he said the media that covers Dallas he sees on tv and radio are a bunch of smug son of a *****es. He does on and on and then the game starts and he just keeps going.

I recorded his pregame rant, I will post it one day when I am bored. That is what biased sounds like.

Al micheals is to busy counting his money to be biased.

LOL.

So true.

It cracks me up after big games fans here complaining about Collinsworth, Lynch even Aikman for chrissakes. It's like they have special ears that only turn themselves on when the color guy or announcer says something positive about the team playing the Cowboys.

Collinsworth was heaping praise on the Cowboys all night but some here only heard things that they deemed were negative to the Cowboys. It's hilarious.

Yeah, I'm about 7 miles from that spot, over the hill on the other side of Studio City :)

I'm selling and moving to Rhode Island (most likely) when the boy turns 18

Are you going to be neighbors with Dee Snider and Mick Foley?

Biased announcer?

Collinsworth was talking about how BEASLEY claimed Cromartie was one of the best slot corners.

Smh.

We've got the most indignant and insecure fanbase in sports.

You must be talking about the Golden State Warriors again.:lmao2::lmao::muttley::D
