Nothing he's wearing says he's. Cowboys fan - nothing.

I would guess that the PGA has certain rules about the dress code, .. and wearing NFL gear would not fly. I understand that.
If you allowed that, one guy would be wearing NBA, then next guy wearing MLB, .. NASCAR, etc. .. on and on.
It would become cheezy.

The best he could do is what he did, .. he wore Dallas Cowboys colors.

He could wear the gear, but he is is sponsored by Under Armour and Nike has the NFL stuff. They get paid to wear what they wear.

Oh, ok, I didn't know how that worked, .. I just don't remember ever seeing PGA pro golfers wearing NFL gear. (hats and shirts)

John Daly is a huge Cowboys fan too. I followed him around a bit at Pebble Beach. His golf bag was littered with Dallas and Arkansas stuff.

Navy is one of the franchise's colors.

I guess, in your world, a sports apparel corporate sponsor creates clothing in only one color? His agreement with his sponsor would mandate he wear clothing displaying its commercial logo but not a specific color necessarily.

Perhaps you should take another look at the color Spieth chose to wear in the OP's photo.

It's Navy by the way.

He's a Cowboy fan.

Wait for it...

Not that it matters, but yeah, it matters.

Our local young lad that stared down Rory, Phil, and Tiger this weekend, and laughed in their scrambling faces....he is a big Cowboys fan. Jordan Spieth bleeds blue in that green jacket.

Played golf with Romo all the time before the back surgery. Knows Roger well. Attends games in his Dez jersey. Has been known to be around other players, too, on occasion.

And dang it if he doesn't look just like Jason Witten with his cap on, eh?

Guess who my "new" favorite golfer is?

I think there was a moment on Saturday or Sunday when ol' WFAA vet Verne Lundquist waxed poetically about Romo, Staubach, Spieth, Crenshaw, JR Ewing, and the city of Dallas all in one sentence. As a Dallasite and Longhorn alum, that whole moment gave me chicken skin.

Verne loves him some Dallas.

If this was a Caption This thread, I got Spieth saying: "You can lay up over there to the right of the water and still get up and down from there."

And Romo is thinking to himself, "Not me, I going to go for it over the water straight at the flag."

LOL
