Bigger holes on Offensive or Defensive Line?

are you guys more concerned about our offensive or defensive lines? The D Line gets no penetration in the run game while the OLine hasn’t opened holes all year except for the 4th quarter yesterday.

Football is won at the line of scrimmage and we’re barely above average at best in those 2 areas.

Na. Our biggest holes on defense is the linebackers and safeties. Offense I am leaning towards WR. O-line only needs one hole to patch and that depends on If Collins is a G/T.

I say we take best available player with the noted exception of RB and QB. Everything other position is fair game.

We need to unload Dez in the next few years. If a top WR is there and is the BAP, take him and move on from Dez.

It would be nice if we had a huge monster size one tech guy in the middle that could demand double teams and help stop the run.

mr parcell---i am very very concerned about both O and D lines....coaching and motiviation of players better make strong quality adjustments or Stephen a smith statement..."cowboys are just an accident waiting to happen" will come true yet again

I'm debating on if its a lack of talent on the dline or if it's our "rushmen" philosophy that has our run defense in an abysmal state. It seems they get washed out of their run gaps because they are so worried about getting after the QB. Just an opinion of mine, not sure if right or wrong.

Offensive line is a execution problem. The D line has got some decent talent now. But we are hindered with a weak line backing core and young defensive backs. In my opinion, both units are hindered by simplistic schemes and crappy adjustment by the coaching staff.

Our offense is dropping 30 a game. I'd like to see us get a Fletcher Cox-type to just eat up the middle of the d-line. A competent safety and LB addition would be nice too.

Was the main problem with the Titanic the quality of the food or the music?

I'm terribly concerned about the linebackers. Nothing else bothers me all that much. Sure, I wouldn't mind improvement in a number of areas, but the LBs are the huge gaping hole on this team that limits everything else, from the schemes we can run to how all the other defensive players look as a result.

I think Marinelli is a great coach, great. great motivator of men and his policy of everybody run to the ball i love it. its what makes his defensive lines work even with little talent.
but i think his calling is to be a defensive line coach maybe assist defense coordinator.
the selfish me wants a coach like Jim Johnson. remember the Eagles dc who gave Romo nightmares? always blitz always pressure but never showing where it was coming from. a scheme that eats young qb alive and confuses even veterans.
we have smarter players and can draft faster linebackers but who is a defensive coordinator in the mold of Jim Johnson? dont think he had to have hof players to confuse a offense.

as for Linehan, he was doing a great job burning up the 4th until that pass. that 1 play didnt lose the game though. it hurt, but not like Terrence or the defense

Unless he takes a major pay cut, Bryant is done at the end of this year. Guaranteed money is all that's keeping him in Dallas. He has lived off of jersey sales for 3 yrs...its a business decision.
