What is the biggest thing you are worried about in the Cowboys vs Vikings game?

For me its mental errors like false starts and stupid personal foul penalties. I really get mad when we have a penalty that messes up a good drive, it seems like it always happens.....

I think we are good enough to beat them across the board offense/defense/special teams but metal errors could kill us, and we have a history of them. Ease my worries please.

im worried Ware will be too much into the moment and forget to remove his foot from Favre's *** resulting in Brett choking on his own fruit of the looms....

The only thing that "worries" me is the fact that we haven't had to face a team with any semblace of a running game.

Now, the Vikings have shifted away from being a running team this year, but we still have to be cognizant of the fact that AP is a good RB.

I'll have to agree with the penalty issue. We've been fortunate to be able to overcome so many penalties in recent weeks, but I think this is the game that we run dry in that aspect. Take last week's opening drive, where Ogletree gets to about the 1-yard line yet we end up backing ourselves up out of field goal range. Do that this week, and I think we lose.

The next thing that worries me is Favre's ability to get rid of the ball quickly on slants and other crossing-type patterns. If he's able to negate our pass rush by doing that, I think that's the only way our defense gets carved up tomorrow. I totally respect Peterson, but I really don't see our defense getting torched for big gainers in the ground game -- and I also don't see Minnesota really sticking with the running game from start to finish.

Turnovers and penalties are the ONLY things that can keep us from winning this game.

As I've posted several times this week, I'm worried we'll concentrate too much on stopping Peterson and letting a guy like Taylor run all over us, a la that fullback from NO several years ago.

Also, Tim Brown pointed out that the middle of the field is always open in Wade's D, and I think he is coompletely right. If we don't get to Farve before he finds Shancoe going down the middle, it will be a long day for us.

I will be disappointed if we lose, but if we play hard and do our best, that will be enough for me; just don't give the game away w/ lack of effort and preparation...

After watching Saturday's game, it is the fact that the officials gave the home teams a lot of help! I think the NFL front office wanted the Saints and colts playing next week.
Example: Reggie Bush TD return - there were at least 2 and maybe 3 blocks in the back that were obvious, but not called.
I think we might be taking on the officials too.

Penalties are a concern. I'm always a little hesitant when we break off a big gain, fearing a block in the back, pass int, holding etc...

Favre will get greedy at some point. I think Jenkins and Newman will be up to the task.

we should have beat san diego, and we shut down their running game.

it seems as if teams that we played didnt have running games, but thats because we aimed to stop the run first.

We struggled against new york, and thats why we couldnt beat them.

We beat new orleans and carolina, who are both top 10 in rushing yards in the reg. season.

Of the teams in the top 10 in rushing yards in the reg season other than us. Only New Orleans and New York remain. It really speaks to the balance that is left over in the nfl.

Minnesota ranked 13th in total yards, and had 4.1 yards per carry tying them for 19th in the nfl.

Adrian Peterson is a big play running back, but teams have been able to keep him within the lanes, and when that happens he is not effective. He will also be stopped for a few negative runs. And that will put favre in bad position where he can make mistakes. I'm hoping favre plays a lot like Warner tomorrow.

The Vikings aren't a big play offense, they dink and dunk with their west coast offense, and thats exactly what our defense wants them to do. You're not going to drive non stop on this defense dinking and dunking 80 yards. Even Drew Brees struggled to do that.

After watching the games today, the number one thing I am concerned about is officiating.

Both home teams got ALOT OF HELP from the refs. I know these crews are suppossed to be the so-called best in the league, but dam there were some bull**** going on.

Like one poster said, there were several blocks in the back on the Reggie Bush TD and not one single flag. I also saw Suggs get flat out raped by the Colt's oline and no flags.

Lets just hope the league office hasnt decided that old man Favre playing Brees in the NFC Title game would be "best for the league" if you get what I am saying.

Mental errors.

I don't doubt the Cowboys after what I've seen during this run, but that is still the one wart they have.

A big play...like a corner falling down and giving up an easy six...or a long return. ....AP breaking a screen pass to go the distance.

Big plays is what worries me.
