Is Bill Callahan's departure the reason for the o line struggles? I don't see the big holes like last year.
I think having the worst quarterback in the league under center and not a single deep threat on the outside has more to do with the offensive line's struggles then Callahan. I don't know how many offensive lines that are considered dominant that would still be so without really any threats on offense outside of a 33 year old tight end and a slot receiver.
Also we have JAG's at running back, it's clear you need better than that to succeed.

He isn't the worst QB in the league. This is coming from a guy who wanted no part of Weeden. How can we take you seriously, your name is RunDMC.
Not only Callahan known for developing a good OLine, he is supposely very maticulous and detail oriented. You can have the same players and same scheme but a coach can make a difference on how they perform on game day.
Callahan is known to make players practice until they get their technique right. Maybe our OL isn't as prapared during the week as they were last year.
It is a combination of everything:
1. predictability on offense
2. no running game
3. no QB
4. no WR's
5. coaching, which goes back around to #1
Romo is what makes this team click and nothing else. He is the lone bright spot since those SB years and is the reason that we have sniffed the playoffs.
Who's worse? I don't know another quarterback who plays more scared despite having a huge arm. I don't know another quarterbacks who struggles so much to step up in the pocket, to his left or right, who's less decisive, who can only throw to one side of the field, who still doesn't survey the whole field, and just doesn't bring anything to the offense. He can't make any of the throws despite a check down.
Well, let's look at the backup QBs in the division.
Eagles: Mark Sanchez
Skins: Colt McCoy
Giants: Ryan Nassib
None of those guys are any better than Brandon Weeden.
good post.

I take Sanchez over Weedon anyday.

Yes ,but why is there no running game?
