That statement there seems like a guy who is interested in the job and is letting Jerry know up front that they can be successful with him as coach and Cowher would be interested if Jerry says bye bye to TO.

I don't disagree with you. However, Jerry Jones will stick with Owens for the foreseeable duration, so what difference does it matter what Cowher wants in the short-term?
