Ugh, another wonderful performer has gone home. Bill was 91.

RIP ... loved I dream of jeannie ...

This caught my attention from the article...

“He loved every sunset, he loved every meal — he just decided to be happy about everything,” said his son.

That's amazing. Not many people can say that.

The sad reality of visual entertainment mediums like television and film is that it allows anyone to enjoy the work of performers so much more than just simply hearing them. Over time, the audience grows to know them so well that their work is absorbed and welcomed forever into their lives.

I Dream of Jeannie was a perfect sitcom for its time. A man becomes the luckiest son of a you know what finding an incredibly powerful beautiful woman who could make anything possible. Hagman and Eden were a glorious pair but that show will be forever endearing that much more because of the funny best friend sidekick in Daily.

Rest in peace Mr. Daily. And thank you.

I just loved him. Always felt like such a nice guy and the characters he played were like long time friends. I grew up on IDOJ and TBNS. R.I.P. Mr. Daily and thanks for the memories. :(
