I disagree. We could have challenged the Seahawks secondary more than we did. After all they signed two corners off the street the week prior, including Pete Hunter, who was working at a post office and whom we knew as a player from his time with Dallas. That was a HUGE missed opportunity.

We we outcoached in that game badly. It really surprised me and most of Cowboy Nation as well.

Coach tried to keep Romo from being bad Tony. Unleashing Tony probably wins that game but he could have thrown a few picks as well. I do think Coach was too conservative overall but less than many here think IMO.

Way more than we did. They dropped those relatively poor safeties back (we all remember Ken Hamlin, right?) doubled TO for most of the game, and dared us to beat them with Terry Glenn, the RBs, and Jason Witten. We should have obliged. Instead, we put up 13 offensive points. Yuck.

I don't know about you, but I'm taking a wide-eyed Tony Romo over a wide-eyed rookie DB any day of the week.

Give me Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, Jason Witten, and Terry Glenn against any patchwork defense in a playoff game, and I think I'm gonna throw it.

When Train-Rex Grossman doubles your offensive output against that same defense the following week, I think it's pretty safe to say that you weren't being aggressive enough offensively when you had your chance.
