Where would we be now If BP would have started to build this Defense and Offense from day one JJ hired him?

In 2003, he should have fired everyone and hired his entire staff. He should have made

trades with Dat,Dexter Coak. , Glover and Ellis. He knew that those were not his type of

of players but he was fooled.

Year 1, He should have Drafted a QB, and LB'rs for his type of Defense.
Year 2, the QB would have been in his second year. At this point, he could have worked on RB

and O-Line exclusively.

Year 3, (this past draft), WR - FS - Kicker, we would have a 3rd year QB and unleashing the fury

on the league. You mix in some intelligent Free Agent pickups, and Lord Knows where we'd be.

Lesson learned, you can't build with old players, you can only get better with them. BP was in

a hurry to get a SB team here, consiquently, this past year is when he actually started to

build this team meaning, we're 2 years behind.

I've always kind of wondered why he didn't draft every year like he did this year. Of course he didn't have 2 1st rounders, but still, his drafts weren't exactly "team building." Guys like Peterman and Rogers were risks when he drafted them and they blew up in his face.

It's almost like he didn't have a true plan until this past off-season after being embarrassed.

Parcells might have been ale to do some of what you said in first season except he did agree to Jerry Jones' request that we needed to keep Carter and find out how good he was. Well we kept Carter and went 10-6 but in 04 cut Carter because of his poor performance in TC; course most of us believe it was due to his alleged drug problem. Way I see it Jerry Jones' contibuted to Parcells failure to make the necessary changes in his first year. We paid for that in 04 by going 6-10 w/o Carter & Darren Woodsen and generally poor play of OL and most others.

I this was supposed to be Parcells world and not Jerrys. BP should have sat Jerry down, and said "it's my way or the highway".
He didn't, so now we're behind schedule.

how can you turnover an entire roster in one year though?

yah he should have blown up the D last year but that wasn't possible given our salary cap, players available, etc.

Parcells is a big boy making a lot of money.

How about we let him stand on his own two feet for where we are three years after his hiring, instead of STILL blaming Jerry Jones.

I don't understand everyone labeling Peterman a bust already he hasn't seen the field but did you expect him to start over Rivera or Allen this year? His time will come and we've yet to see if he's a bust yet. Rogers is what you would call a bust, give Peterman a chance ffs.

Apparently we have advanced NFL scouts posting here anonymously. ROTF.

to label what Parcells has done thus far with the team as a mess shows just how much you understand about football...and how short of a memory you have.

Until we're in the playoffs competing for a SB, we are a mess.

BINGO.

Well, in fact he had a plan...he was going to populate the roster with Dedric Ward types...play error free football...and rule the NFL.

NOT.

I'm not insulting him I'm telling the truth, if you think this team is a mess then you don't remember where we were 4 and 5 years ago.

Frankly-the WORST thing that happened to us was that 03 over-achieving year. Not that it's a BAD thing-but if he had finished 5-11 instead, Bill P would have had an easier time filling in all the weaknesses and holes.

You nailed it, he set this franchise back by being too full of himself.

He was so bent on the 3-4 this past off season, then why didn't he come in with that attitude. It took reality hitting him in the gut.
