Quality safeties are very hard to come by these days. With that said, I'd give up a 1st for the guy - would fill a major hole for many years to come.

Gotta look at it from the Bills perspective, give up one of my very best young defensive players - for an aging, overpaid, often injured DT and a mid-round pick?

Heard the talking heads on Total Access say it would probably be a player for player trade since someone will have to take on the remainder of his tag. We could probably move Miles for him, but I'd rather roll with what have then bring in a safety with plantar fasciitis.

I believe that was part of Jay Ratliff's injuries from last season. My understanding is once you have it there are treatments for it but nothing cures it completely, it could flare back up at anytime.
