Buffalo fans are starting to question the decision to go with Losman :) Calling for Kelly Holcombe to take over the reins. Hahaha!! They had a qb that gave them 20 tds in a run-oriented offense and almost a playoff birth with a crappy o-line and now they are watching Losman get killed. Morons!!

Moron = Someone with an average intelligence quotient that is less than average.

Hmm.

The Bills would've been wiser to give Drew another year at the helm and Loserman another year on the bench. About 90% of QB prospects need 1-3 yrs of sitting before the light goes on....and I didn't think that much of Loserman as a prospect..

I'd say that's a very accurate take on the situation.

:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: Bills fans can sit back and watch Bledsoe Lead us to the playoffs this year while LOSman will guide them to under 500!!

Bills were stupid.....Bledsoe will prove that this year....Count on it!

Yeah, I sure wish we were going into the season with either Henson, Romo, or Testaverde as our starter, huh?

How exciting that would be. Instead of people predicting us to make a playoff run, we would be playing for a top 10 pick again.

Glad you're not in charge.

Haha, Mikey.

I find it so, well, wierd, that my entire hopes for this season are wrapped up in, of all people, Leadfoot.

And it's more than just the season...it's the final chapter of Bill's career. Tuna lives or dies with Bledsoe this year, and who's to say if he has the energy to start all over again next year?

That this man should wield so much power is flabbergasting. He can make or break a Cowboys season depending on whether he can carry a defense sure to experience growing pains, and he can send a future Hall of Fame coach into final retirement, or write a happier final ending to the story.

I can't help but wish, hope, pray for Drew's success with every fiber of my being. As much as I want to see Henson, sooner not later, this year is ALL about DB.

And on a good day, Mikey, I can convince myself what we both saw these past four or five years was an illusion. On a REAL good day I can even pretend Drew doesn't look much less comfy than Vinnie T did this time last year.

I think I need to put Drew in my signature. No sarcasm - to show my total support and the degree of my hopes for him.

And after all of that, we can be thankful about one thing. None of them are Quincy Carter. :D

I'm not surprised Bills fans are skeptical. Holcomb is a very good backup and I feel like he'll eventually be the starter for this team this season. They have too many other spots set on their team (RB, WR, Defense) to struggle with a rookie (for all intents and purposes) QB. If Losman starts badly, you'll see Holcomb by week 5.

That's right, BlueWave.

It's one thing having to put complete faith in a player whose game flaws you clear see.

Quite another having to put them in a player whose character flaws are being slowly but inevitably revealed.

At least if Drew fails, there will be a sort of solace that he was doing his best.

He will never do anything to sabotage his team.

Couldn't have said it better. We can work around and cover any shortcomings Bledsoe has to allow him to use his great passing arm. With Carter, even if you could fix his QB shortcomings, there was no fixing the personal issues.

8-8, Bledsoe starts 16...next year is when we see some SERIOUS pressure on Henson.

BW, I treat sports just like I do my businesses. I don't expect to crack $30K in month in sales within the first 30 days... it takes time. You build one success on another. You give me some improvement with the young guys that have come in on defense along with Pettiti playing OK at RT and I'm happy with a 9-7 and a chance to improve our WR and QB positions in the offseason. I'm not about the "playoffs". I'm after the big prize.

Agreed. Bledsoe is here for 2 years, most likely. We're preparing a lot of young guys (particularly on defense) who will be primed and ready to go in 2-3 years then what..................we'll need a new QB.

Parcells is so good for this team in so many ways, but when it comes to timing, the whole thing stinks. We have a coach that will be leaving in a year or 2 and a QB that is leaving in 2 years most likely.

I too would rather prepare for the 'big prize' than win a token playoff game here or there before bowing out.

It is what it is however. Can't complain too much because there is definite improvement in this team.

My problem is that, ultimately, I know Drew Bledsoe will never win a championshiip, either here, or anywhere else.
