My birthday is tomorrow and it would be nice to see the team do something awesome for me :D lol

I would really like Cooper to be available, but it seems like that may not happen due to the lack of top talent in this draft. Some of the most recent mocks seem to project us taking Sylvester Williams at 18. That's awesome because I am a Tar Heel fan. With that being said I am gonna mock it a little different, ignoring some guidelines for prospects while not totally brushing them off totally. And so here it goes...

No trades as I have done plenty of mocks. My most recent with trade here >> http://cowboyszone.com/forums/dallascowboys.php?t=253988

RD1 Sheldon Richardson DT Mizzou
-Not gonna spend too much time explaining some of these picks. His age doesn't concern me as he is still young enough to receive a second contract if he deserves it. If he falls and I am choosing, I would select him. Too much value.

RD2 Phillip Thomas FS Fresno State
-I am a bit of a homer with the Fresno pick, but his skill set fits exactly what we need and I think he is one of the top 3 safeties in the draft.

RD3 Brian Winters OG Kent State
-Versatile, Mobile, Nasty.

Rd4 Mike Gillislee RB Florida
- Good round to take a back. Gillislee is a solid performer and I like him here unless someone falls.

RD5 Josh Boyce WR TCU
-Pretty much has been in all of my mocks. Very underrated.

RD6 Brandon Jenkins DE Flordia State
-Beastly when he was healthy and fits the profile for a Kiffin DE. Size may be a concern, but great value in the 6th if he is there.

For some of these players you could check out my most recent previous mock for any dialogue.

Some notes and thoughts

* At 18 I will be happy with Cooper, Warmack, Richardson, Sly, Werner(if available).
--- I prefer to trade down some spots from 18 Hopefully to pick up a third if at all possible. In that case we may still have a shot at Sly. If not, I am perfectly content with Datone Jones.

* Some RBs to consider post-draft or late that I have either already liked and have fell or are just off the radar. Robbie Rouse, George Winn, Spencer Ware, , Michael Hill. In that order.

* Marquess Wilson Washington St. Not sure what to think of him, but seems to be a good player with some character problems. Seems to possess a skillset that would thrive in a Coryell playing on the outside. 7-UDFA?
--- One more off the radar, Rico Richardson WR Jackson State
-----------Also, Joe Vellano DT Maryland

I could live with this. Appreciate the effort. Don't be surprise if we pick up an OLB

I don't mind an OLB. I mocked one to them in some earlier mocks. Personally, if I were picking, I would probably not select one unless I traded down. There is definitely some talent out there.
