Who knows when? 2019?
I want to see her origins.

I want to see her origins.
Why? She really is not that interesting in the movies.
Personally beyond her looks...I think she is the most boring and weakest character in the Avengers movies.
Her looks are average. If that.
If you say so GQ
Average is me being nice.
Of course it is my dear.
She's all yours butterfly.
Tough crowd.
Scarlett Johansson was good casting in my opinion. I can't think of a 'name' actress who would've been a good alternative outside of Kate Beckinsale (or Stana Katic?) who would've fit the profile of an athletic, multi-layered, young but mature, highly cunning, intelligent, and beautiful redheaded Russian super spy. Jessica Biel would've looked killer in Widow's S.H.I.E.L.D. uniform. So would Jessica Alba but she would've given off a more wholesome aura than the role demands I think. Milla Jovovich has the genes that fit the character almost perfectly but I think she has drained the action heroine niche portion of her career almost dry.
There are a number of angles they could go at Romanoff in the movie. I've been a big proponent of action movies with female leads ever since Aliens. Hopefully this movie will deliver for Johansson and up her appreciation index among movie fans.
Her hair or wig is dyed red. She's exhibited vulnerability, wit, sassiness, seriousness, sexiness, fear, determination/grit, etc., along with projecting an aura of fighting expertise. None of the performances by any of the actors in the current string of Marvel movies has been Oscar worthy. Johansson is not the exception to that observation but she is far from doing a Kristen Stewart in the four movies she has reprised the role to this point.Mult-layered? What exactly in her personality or performance is so called multi-layered? Her orange hair?

I think I would trust Disney/Marvel more with a movie adaptation of Man-Thing than Warner Bros/DC rebooting Swamp Thing.Instead of wasting money on a Black Widow movie
I wish they would revamp the Swamp Thing movies with much better special effects and a more serious screenplay. The rubber suit in the older movies was terrible even though they improved on it a tad in the second one.
I wish they would redo the Flash Gordon movie. I like the cheesiness of the old one but I think they should have went with better effects and ships. The hawkmen with those lame cardboard looking wings and the space ships looking lame (yes I know that was the intent) but they could be better.
I wish, even though they are canadian, they would make an Alpha Flight movie...couple of cool characters.

And thanks for making me reminiscence about Adrienne Barbeau. sigh.
Flash Gordon is a B-movie classic in my heart. I don't know if they should do a remake but it would be a totally different movie if they made a serious remake of the original. The remake may end up being tons better though. Even so, I doubt the remake could outdo the original's Queen soundtrack.
An Alpha Flight movie would be great. I wonder who would play Puck? Peter Dinklage? (serious question)
If you want to see her origins there are a few pics floating around on the net, just be careful though.
