You know what, Tony Romo may develope into a good QB for us. In fact, I'd love it. But let's face some facts here. While Tom Brady has been brilliant, find me another QB in the league right now who got picked in the 6th round whos out there doing what Brady does. Romo went undrafted. Now he's obviously a decent enough QB to stick around and all, but remember, the odds arent on his side. Take a top 5 QB pick, and you're probably looking at 50 50 chance of him being great, or, well, not so great. Now take a guy who doesnt get drafted, and your odds of him being great diminish by a lot. I'm not trying to say he can't do it because he wasn't drafted, but I sure am saying it's a hell of a long shot.
Bledsoe would have a ring if it wasn't for Desmond Howard, count on it. Bledsoe led the Bills to a 9-7 record in a very tough AFC East...granted Buffalo has a good defnse and a good running game...but they are not on par with Baltimore's or Tampa Bay when they won with "no name" qb's. Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson definately don't lead the Bills to the playoffs last year. No matter how you cut it, QB play is very important in the NFL...Bledsoe had a decent sized part in the Bills record, and late stretch run.
And I know that QB's can only gain experience by playing, but between Henson and Romo, does 2 series and 1/2 half of a game, all on Henson, really get you that excited. Romo isn't Carson Palmer. He wouldnt come in and lead us to an 8-8 record evne.
