Cowboys’ quarterback Drew Bledsoe has thrown for 2,325 yards and 14 touchdowns this season. After being released from Buffalo, Bledsoe is turning heads in the NFC. [Bledsoe] also enjoys playing against Denver, a team in which, over his past four starts over the Broncos, he has eight touchdown passes, one interception and a 109.9 passer rating.<<<

Bring on the rout!!!

I don't think the last two games mean a thing. The Broncos are a smoke-and-miirors team who are good at home because of the climate advantage and marginal on the road because, well, they're a marginl football team.

Their best player on Defense os John Lynch, a great player who will have his hands full today accounting for Terry Glenn. That will open up the running game for J.Jones and MBIII who are going against defensive tackles like Michael Myers ( :laugh2: ). Even the passing game will open up as the OL shuts down the fierce pass-rushing attack from players like Ebeneezer Ekuban ( :lmao2: ).

We're going to easily control both the offensive and defensive lines todday. Bledsoe will have a field day passing, and this game will be a total blowout in our favor!!!

Happy ThanksGiving Everybody!!! :D

Smoke and mirrors huh.

They have outscored their last 3 opponents 107-38. Including an Eagles team with both TO and McNabb.

I expect a very good game. I cant imagine the Cowboys being blownout, nor the Broncos this season.

Nice post dude. I think we bring the wood today also. I look for our offense to have a big day against them. BP knows exactly how to attack Myers and Ekuban. I see us throwing on them too. On defense, our CB's matchup real well with them, leaving Roy in the box all day to shut down that "cut back" crap. We will beat the Broncos SOUNDLY today....

The key is to get ahead and pressure Plummer. Plummer's having a great season but he still is what he is, an INT waiting to happen. Today's the day.

Skins... You make a good point. Parcells said we would be facing the best team we have faced this season. That is pretty powerful when you consider we have played SD, Seahawks, Wash., NYG and Eagles.

If we win, it will be by a field goal and if they win I don't think it will be by much more. You have two good coaches and two good teams.

Their linebackers are their best players on D and you didn't even mention them. Why?

.. and those three teams have a combined record of 10-20
.. and one of the games was against the NCAA level Jets ..
.. and two of those games were played AT Denver which is a huge factor for Denver
.. and Denver is only 2-2 on the road (6-0 at home, see above)
.. and Dallas has outscored their last three opponents 75-40 including an Eagles team AT Philadelphia!

Stats are cool :)

Nothing that has happened in the past has anything to do with what will happen today. Stats like these are just to make the homers wave their flags.

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

An decimated Eagles team in Philly. Impressive.

The Jets are still a decent/good defensive team.

Denver is 2-2 on the road.

The Cowboys have played terrible on the road in spite of their record, a 3-2 mark.

So, when the Eagles were "fully loaded" in Dallas (home game like the one you are comparing in Denver), a 33-10 win isn't impressive? I can't believe the "vaunted Denver defense" gave up 21 points to the Eagles when the Cowboys defense only gave up 3 points as 7 came from an interception returend for a TD.

The Jets are still a decent/good defensive team.
In the last 5 games (all losses by the way), the Jets defense have given up 27, 30, 31, 27 and 27 points. If you think that is "a decent/good defensive team" then you must think the Cowboys defense is the best ever.

The Cowboys have played terrible on the road in spite of their record, a 3-2 mark.
.. and this matters because ... ? Last time I checked, the Cowboys were playing at home and the Broncos were playing on the road. Perhaps I missed something ..

-Reality .. hurts sometimes ..

When your offense cant move the ball and the opponent is being given great field position over and over eventually any D is going to fold.

You referred to the ROAD win vs. the Eagles. There is no question that the Eagles got smacked around in Dallas. On the road against the decimated Eagles the Cowboys looked suspect for most of the game.

It matters none at all, except that you are saying that the Broncos arent that good on the road. They arent that bad either. They lost by one in NY and didnt show up for the first game vs. the Dolphins.

Perception is reality.
Reality is that the Cowboys have looked more consistent at home. But not especially dominant.

Yes..those being the Jets, Oakland and Philly. I wouldnt give that lopsided score much credence against those 3 bottom feeders.

The boys are 2-0 against Philly..you aren't impressing anyone by saying Denvers claim to fame is a win against Philly.

Which offense can't move the ball? Just cause we chose to do it on the ground vs. the Lions doesnt mean we can't move the ball through the air.

The reality is the Boys are 7-3 and their 3 losses are by a combined 10 points. No other team in the league has been as consistent at the Cowboys, except Indy.

Since nobody read these on my thread, :( here they are...

From SI.com, here are some interesting splits for the two opposing QB's. The number is the passer rating in that situation.

On 2nd down...
less than 8 yards to go
Plummer 124.3
Bledsoe 133.2

more than 8 yards to go
Plummer 75.6
Bledsoe 97.8

We have to stop the Broncos on 1st down.

On third down...
Plummer 69.1
Bledsoe 92.4

We just have to get the Broncos into any kind of 3rd down situation.

When trailing...
Plummer 66.0
Bledsoe 98.2

Notice how impressive Bledsoe's numbers are?

Against the blitz...
Plummer (96 blitzes)
4 sacks 9 TD 0 INT

Bledsoe (88 blitzes)
12 sacks 5 TD 1 INT

We gotta get pressure from the front four (front 3 + Ware)
