This is not a bash drew thread, I am quite pleased with him overall...

but he seems to dropback slowly, and because most of our handoffs are deep in our backfield, I wonder if his slow dropbacks give the defense time to lock on our running backs...

I know mcgahee was very successful in buffalo last year, and i haven't watched them enough to know how similar or dissimilar our running styles are...

thoughts?

Bledsoe is a gangly dude with a rocket-launcher for an arm. take the good with the bad. he can see over the line and can lean waaay forward for the first on the "sneak". but he can't "feather" a pass in the short to intermediate range and will never be confused with steve young when it comes to footwork.

bottom line... he's far and away the best QB we've had since Aikman bowed out and he's won us far more games than he's cost us.

I think it has gotten more noticeable after the coaches "corrected" the snap issues. It seems like he is making sure he's got the ball before heading out (doesn't want BP in his grill about all the fumbles from snap). That's my take...

Great pic tothewhipbill! Drew is doing a damn good job. I trust him more than any QB since Aikman's better years.

The O-line is a liability. Either that, or we need another O-line coach.

What pleased me the most about Drew yesterday was how he bounced back after that bad interception. Just like against San Francisco, on the drive following the Int returned for a TD, Drew was perfect on the next drive (yesterday 5 for 5 with a TD). Coming against a much better team in Denver, that was impressive. He also added another TD and ran for one, plus got them into FG range for Cundiff. If the Cowboys win the Giants game this will be moot.
