You dissapoint me CC. You're usually the voice of the eternal optimist.

Don't you know that we will get the number 1# from Cleveland.
However, we wont draft McFadden with it.
We trade down to #2 with a team sold on B. Brohm and select McFadden #2 overall.;)

They could go 0-6 in their division like they did last year to Cincinnati, Baltimore and Pittsburgh. Of the remaining schedule, here is how I see it:

@Oakland - should win
@New England - will lose
Miami - can win, won't be easy
@St. Louis - can win, won't be easy
Seattle - should lose
Houston - can win, won't be easy
@Arizona - can win, won't be easy
@N.Y. Jets - should lose
Buffalo - should win
San Francisco - should lose

That's only 3 games that the Browns should win, so it is very possible for them to go 3-13.

Personally though, I think we pick #3 overall and #32, meaning that either we stunk it up this year and Cleveland won the SB, or the Browns stunk it up this year and we won the SB.

Don't sell Oakland out -- they'll be much better this year - the coaching in Oak last year was just plain awful -- they had guys in high level roles on that staff who had been out of the league forever.

Do the asteriks next to McFadden and Talib mean underclassmen?

I thought that meant that their performances were suspect b/c of alleged steroid use

Hey, that's actually not a half-bad draft for the Boys... I'd take it in a heartbeat... my biggest problems are with the Wallace Gilberry and JoLonn Dunbar picks...

Gilberry's 6-4, 265 pounds, which would be ideal size for a tweener DE/OLB, but his 4.85 40 time makes it unlikely he could play OLB in the NFL... Dunbar is right small for a 3-4 OLB, at 6-0, 235 pounds... he does run a 4.65 second 40, but he looks like more of a pure 4-3 OLB...

But I'd be thrilled with McFadden, Talib, Caldwell and Arnold on the first day, and like the Santos and Balogh picks on day two...

You could have stopped there and it would have been a good draft. :D

The Browns may very well be the worst team in the league next year - it is totally possible. They are pathetic.

Well while I hope for the Browns to suck, the games must be played.. Anyone know a little about the CB from Kansas, I haven't seen him play.

Don't forget that the Browns are playing for a lame duck coach. If the team starts out slow, it will be a very long year for them.

I would be very happy with that draft, but I would be very happy with any draft that ends up bringing McFadden here.

The bills will be worse than Cleveland. I bet the bills don't win 2-3 games.

But it won't matter, they took Lynch this year, so their eyes will be on qb.

If we want him, McFadden will be ours.

I think the light has started to come on for JP Losman. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills perform well this year.
