My name is Jeff Pearlman. I’m a former Sports Illustrated senior writer and the author of two books. I’m currently working on my latest book, a biography of the Dallas Cowboys of the 1990s (covering 1989-97).
I’ve never done this before with past books, but I would like to get Cowboy fans involved. If there’s anyone out there who has any unique memories/expriences/stories regarding/involving the Cowboys of the ’90s, and you’d like to share them, please drop me an e-mail at anngold22@yahoo.com.
Thank you very much.

Good idea on his part, I sent him a funny story (stories) about our 1992 victory over the Giants in NJ of that year that I of course attended.

We could actually have a zone for stories about attending games, or maybe there is one already...I swear I haven't been to all of the zones we have here yet.

I'd share it here and now, if this was the place for it.

didn't he write one of the Barry Bonds books?

Yes, according to Wikipedia --

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Pearlman

American writer, best known for his work on sports. He has written two well-received books about baseball and was the author of the infamous John Rocker interview.

He is the author of The Bad Guys Won a biography of the 1986 New York Mets with the memorable subtitle, "A Season of Brawling, Boozing, Bimbo-chasing and Championship Baseball with Straw, Doc, Mookie, Nails, The Kid, and the Rest of the 1986 Mets, the Rowdiest Team Ever to Put on a New York Uniform--and Maybe the Best." In 2004 the book spent eight weeks on the New York Times Best Seller list. Pearlman followed that up with his 2006 publication of Love Me, Hate Me an unauthorized biography of Barry Bonds for which the author interviewed 524 subjects. Because Love Me, Hate Me was released three weeks after Game of Shadows it quickly faded despite critical acclaim.

Pearlman was born and raised in Mahopac, New York and got his start in journalism in 1989, when he interned at a weekly newspaper in Cross River, N.Y. entitled, "The Patent Trader." After graduating from the University of Delaware, he was hired as a food and fashion writer by The Tennessean in Nashville. In 1996 Pearlman was hired by Sports Illustrated, where he spent nearly seven years as a baseball writer.

In 2002 Pearlman left Sports Illustrated, explaining to the New York Observer that he had grown tired of the monotony of sports. He spent the next two years at Newsday, but left to focus on writing books.

In addition to writing Books, Jeff is a frequent contributor to ESPN.com and writes a once a month piece for the North Country News sports section in Westchester, NY.

thought so, thanks Adam

you should definitely read it, Love Me, Hate Me, if you haven't already, great book

Game of Shadows is great too, Love Me, Hate Me, made the already hateable Barry Bonds even more loathsome, not going to give it away, but in Love Me, Hate Me, there's an excerpt where Barry Bonds goes off on alot of young kids seeking autographs, screaming f this, f that, get away from me...yeah

Why a book? Isn't there a video on every year already? :D
