Years ago I wanted to keep Andy Dalton, he was pretty cheap at the time, pre Dak's current contract. I said rebuild , refresh the defense, refresh the O line....... Then get a young QB.
I was laughed at and called a Dak hater.
Serious question right now, was it the right move back then?
They need a top flight defense more than a top flight offense. No SB winning team had an average or below defense, but multiple had wins with journeyman QB's.
