Blue Chip Prospects

Bain dosent look like a blue chipper to me either. Hes good but hes gonna end up playing inside at 3 tech as he continues to grow. Honestly the Cowboys have so many holes that they can go OT as well. Were 2 or years away from having a complete team.

McShay doesn’t even have Bain in his Top 10 prospect board anymore.

McShay is a fool. He called Tyler Booker a great 1st round guard, said he would be a star for a decade, then bashed Dallas for picking him.

Bain is a stud. There are precious few DEs who are as violent, can bend, and hustle after the ball like he does at his size.

Doesn't matter for the Cowboys, because he'll be long gone when we pick.

Apparently, there is a lot of hedging coming out of Dante Moore’s camp about leaving Oregon after the season. I think it makes sense given next year’s class to come out earlier.

That would certainly help push some players to Dallas.
More QBs the better!

Heard Brugler say he might have sub 31 inch arms which is WILD.

Idk man, he just dosent scream #1 over all pick like some where stating at the beginning of the season. I like Cashius Howell, but I havent watched too many players in particular yet.

RB is way down the list of needs . Dallas may have had 29 points against Minn had 30 against Det and was really not that competitive in the second half against either team . Why ? Obvious . The defense is bottom five worst in the NFL . Use the draft to get fresh talent on that side of the ball .

Not even close...at this point I think they both should probably be taken closer to the bottom of the 1st / 2nd than the top of the 1st.

I think Reese is the best player but it’s a matter of opinion.
I recently watched his highlights. He’s a freak athlete with great instincts at his position. He could play any linebacker position as well as an edge rusher. I’d rather have him than Downs. However, I’m afraid both will be gone by the time we pick though.

I think they will take the Oregon tight end if Kelce retires.
That seems really high for a TE when Reid is a lineman type. But it would be an intriguing pick. I just don’t see the value in taking a TE that high who, evidently, has fantastic athleticism and blocking ability but only has 500 yards. I’m thinking DLine by KC maybe WR

I feel like this term is thrown around way too casually every year. For me it is legit top 5 caliber prospects in any class that have all pro potential.

Think Luck, Alt, Chase, Garrett, Kuechly, Jalen Carter, etc...

This years class which is not top heavy? I have 1...

Caleb Downs. He will not get drafted early due to positional value but he is arguably the best player in the draft. He is a do it all S that can be a chess piece like defender. I see him as a more athletic version of Kyle Hamilton who has been a star.
With our luck Peter Woods will fall to us. The one position on defense that we no longer have a need.

Arvell Reese and Caleb Downs will probably be playing in the NFC East next season with the Giants and Commanders.

good draft but not elite prospects and definitely not one who will fall to our 1st first rd pick.

100% agree...very bad year to have 2 1sts.

No blue chippers and it will be a short list of legit 1st round grades.

The Cowboys need a free safety, middle linebacker, corner back and an edge rusher or two that can start.
