Blue expected to make NFL debut this Sunday

Here's another prediction............Blue will either break off a huge play or he'll fumble.

I didn’t see any elusiveness from him, he’s not shifty, not strong, just fast.
You don't know what you're talking about he can cut he can put his stanky leg out and he has done it many times apparently you haven't watched him live in all his college games because he can make people miss... Not just straight line fast that's ridiculous he's not even a sprinter he's not John Ross the man can play the running back position he's got the same height weight build and speed as Jamir Gibbs and he plays like him even though he may not be the same type of player as far as the mental makeup whatever it might be that might hold them back in the pros but he definitely he's got Tony Pollard like skills but faster...

Yeah that's just the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard somebody must be just taking a wild guess and haven't watched enough of him he's definitely can be all those things you said he's not I don't know how much strength the guy has but he's strong enough to catch passes in traffic on the back end lines of the end zone..

So that part I don't know how strong he is he's not a power back he's not supposed to be about power he's in the middle He's really fast but he can play between the tackles But you act like he's supposed to be Ezekiel Elliott he's not supposed to be Zeke he's supposed to be a guy like Tony Pollard He's supposed to be a player that you can project if he is at his very best Can be a Alvin Kamara type that's who he is this is not a gadget player.

We need to change a pace guy we need someone with speed that can get chunk yards and that can catch the ball out of the backfield and he's all those things....

Dude you know how hilarious you sound this is his college highlights first play second play and 3rd play he made plenty of people miss he could punch his foot in the ground and he is elusive you don't even have to watch the whole video but I promise you you'll change your mind about your statement other than strong I don't know how strong the dude is..

It's highlight reel first 10 plays all about elusiveness he literally makes everybody miss his open field juking is all on display bro hook em..

He's fast and elusive the man makes you miss that's a fact it's all right there in your front of your eyes if you choose to look.

I challenge any of you guys to watch this video and tell me this guys not fast elusive got great balance great pass catcher he may not have a lot of power but I see stiff arms and I see him put his head down and drive guys into the ground so some of you haters just don't get it just 'cause he's a low draft pick doesn't mean he's not going to be a very good change of pace guy for the Dallas Cowboys...

No different than our other players this year you know even Williams fumble Sanders fumble george Pickens had a ball bounce off his hands and it turned into an interception he also dropped more than his share of passes CD Lamb dropped passes prescott had an interception or two Guys miss blocks so is that what you're saying they're either gonna make a player or they might make a mistake?

How many plays are called back because offensive lineman move early Even Tyler Smith been guilty of that this year few more than he's usually had so yeah I hate to break it to you but if we're going to judge him for his first game as a professional if he's not perfect he's going to make a mistake and so there's no Gray area...

Some of you just don't make any sense whatsoever you're asking somebody to come in is getting his first shot and saying he's either going to be a big player of fumble well that's been pretty much our entire team this year and the entire defense sucks balls so maybe he should play defense he'd probably be a better safety than most of our other safety group..

JUst curious.... is the bolded above a term of endearment, or an insult? Help me out.
I'm guessing by the way you respond...you're almost young enough to be my grandson.

Term of endearment totally. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

think people are concerned if that translates to the NFL....and why he's not played yet. Pretty unusual, if he is as gifted as what you say.

IM assuming aint going anywhere doesnt mean aint going to cleveland. What else could, we aint going anywhere mean?

Bully and fight? I NEVER make personal insults to anyone, until they do to me. Look back at the post and see if there was a personal insult directed at me, then get back to me.
IM a realist, and to simply say we aint ever doing anything as long as Jerry is in charge is just stupid. All of those arguments about getting a real gm and a real coach..... well it appears to me at least 25 or more teams have a real gm and a real coach and they stink year after year after year.

And it is easy to say I dont care about any other teams.... well that is just putting your head in the sand. Those other teams all show how hard wiunning a SB is, no matter how good your gm and coach. How those Bills looking?
Again....I don;t care whatother teams do....we don't follow their winning formulas anyway. And we been getting bounced out of the playoffs right quick, even with a good team. Unless...they are 8-9 losers like Tampa. We know how to beat losers.

I watch a lot of teams lose. Almost half right? All but a handful play pretty respectfully. Our defense is getting slapped around hard...harldy playing well even during a loss. I'm okay with losing....but not embarassingly...like Green Bay playoff game.

And yes....you most certainly are just looking for fights. All this because you're offended about "ain't going nowhere"?

We got 30 years of it. The Cowboys teams are gonna have to break that if things are to change.

"going SOMEWHERE"...would be a couple strong wins in the playoffs...especially against inferior teams at home. At least in my book. I never imagined someone would take "we ain't going ANYWHERE"...as being only a super bowl. That's nuts...just looking to fight by making a silly take on it.

Well, I guess we have gone places often then, since going to the playoffs apparently counts as "Going somewhere."

INferior teams beat better teams every week.... see Giants last week. Number 1 seeds have been bounced by wildcard teams often over the past 20 years. That thing called the salary cap ensures it will continue to happen.

Really you mean fumble like Sanders and Williams who didn't get cut or sat down and not activated the rest of the year you mean all the drop passes and George Pickens creating an interception you mean you want him to be perfect this should not be an experiment he should be able to grow into his game and have a little bit of leeway I knew somebody was going to come in here and say just don't fumble well that's odd because I look around the league and I see people fumbling last night Kerion Williams fumble Whatever his name is over there With the Rams going in for the touchdown.. You're asking players to be perfect because they're rookies no you should expect them not to be perfect and get the same latitude that the veterans have got they've all been making mistakes this year with all these drop passes and all these problems we've had with miss blocks miss tackles bad coverage and somehow this kids already has a label that he can't make a single mistake..
Unreal.

I am going based on the reports coming out.

And no offense. 30 years of failure. You are going to get complaints.
If you only enjoy sports when your team wins it all you're going to be miserable. 32 teams. Only one wins per year. Repeat wins are extremely rare. Just enjoy the journey.

That’s the sad thing right there.

This is the Dallas Cowboys you’re talking about. This team means something. At at one point it was ONLY SB or bust. Anything else was a failure.

I know they won’t win every year. It’s the complacency and lack of drive to get back to that level that bothers me.

When the owners mantra is “stay around the rim.” It shows that winning isn’t the priority. We should be content with possibly making the playoffs? No. We shouldn’t settle for less than being a contender. Year in. Year out.

It’s all speed, shifting your feet back and forth near a stop is actually what causes so many good college backs to fail in the NFL. Elusive backs can move with agility at near full speed. All the backs that get to the line and “dance” which is what he’s doing with what you’re talking about, fail because NFL DBs typically attack instead of wait. A small stutter step isn’t what I would call elusiveness, most of the players I’m sure know his speed and that causes hesitation.

If he ends up any good it’s in a one cut system, he doesn’t have the change of direction of play strength to weave and work between the hashes. There’s a reason he was a 5th round pick. Man never eclipsed 730 yards rushing with the speed he had in three seasons at Texas. Watch his non highlights.
