Blue and Turpin can both fly How do you see Dallas using them on offense, who has the better year and who wins in a foot race.
I'm not sure about Blue getting more touches. He may be the backup to Williams/Sanders and get only a few touches per game. Turpin might be in the mix to be the third receiver as well as our kick/punt returner.blue will have a better season, simply because he will get more opportunities and more touches. I can imagine both Blue and Turping motioning to the slot of outside. imagine Pickens and CD on one side, turpin and blue on the other side. can give defenses fits.
If I was Shottenheimer I would be trying to get both players on the field at the same time when possible. Defenses would have to account for blazing speed from these two as well as Pickens and Lamb my goodness this could work well. What kind of trick plays could you draw upon with this personel.Close race. Blue by a smidgen.
I disagree Tolbert's going to get way more touches at the three in most regular sets,I'm not sure about Blue getting more touches. He may be the backup to Williams/Sanders and get only a few touches per game. Turpin might be in the mix to be the third receiver as well as our kick/punt returner.
One would think Blue for reasons @CowboysFaninHouston stated but that all depends on who wins the #1 RB position in training camp.Blue and Turpin can both fly How do you see Dallas using them on offense, who has the better year and who wins in a foot race.

I think over the course of the season, I expect blue to get more touches.I'm not sure about Blue getting more touches. He may be the backup to Williams/Sanders and get only a few touches per game. Turpin might be in the mix to be the third receiver as well as our kick/punt returner.
And the negativity continues isn't that something if you don't believe in the thread don't answer but also don't think that this guy isn't fast that's the first part of the question his speed is not questioned he can run on a legitimate 4.3 when healthy..The Blue hype continues.Hopefully it doesn’t jinx him like the Deuce Vaughn hype that was rampant on the board a couple of years ago.
Seems like he could if he wins the No. 2 role. Might be around 10 touches per game. If he wins the role.I think over the course of the season, I expect blue to get more touches.
but you are right, we have to account for Turpin's special teams touches too. I think tolbert and mingo are in the mix for #3 WR more than Turpin.
I won't be surprised if Williams and Sanders both make the roster. No other back we have has proven anything. I'm not saying that because I believe they are anything special. I'm only saying that because their competition is three late-round backs. They have to prove they even deserve to play in the league. I mean, not only would Blue have to beat one of them out but so would Mafah or Vaughn.I disagree Tolbert's going to get way more touches at the three in most regular sets,
so Turpin's going to be splitting targets just as much as blue might be on offense, and you're assuming Williams and Sanders makes his team and I'm not sure they do, one of them won't make it..
It might take four games into the season, but when they see what blue can actually do a lot like Tony Pollard, he'll get a lot more touches, if he's anywhere close to what I envisioned him being in this offense, they'll figure it out quick ,that he's going to need more touches because he can help this offense be dynamic..
What would be really cool and hard to stop would be Pickens, Lamb, Blue, and Turpin all on the field at the same time...... Pick your poison..can you imagine one of our wide receivers coming from the slot crossing the field completely on a deep crosser, Pickens headed out on a long post or a 9 route, they clear it out having backs turned chasing them, and then you have blue /Turpin somehow sneaking into the flats or doing slants....
That should be cool to see if this offensive staff has a clue, we're going to figure it out really fast they have what it takes to have these types of designs and it's going to put a lot of pressure on the defense to pick who you want to try to cover,
you try to ignore blue or Turpin They're going to kill you on a big play...
They both have been clocked about the same top 40s, but that's pretty impressive because Blue is much bigger...I would pick KaVontae Turpin, but my preference is slightly biased after having opportunities seeing him run since high school. The young man is fast.
IMHO!!!! I would be NOT be surprised, nothing they have is truly guaranteed, they have very low end guarantees,I won't be surprised if Williams and Sanders both make the roster. No other back we have has proven anything. I'm not saying that because I believe they are anything special. I'm only saying that because their competition is three late-round backs. Now, I do have expectations for Blue to contribute, but have no idea how much he'll be able to. If he can't hold on to the ball or protect the QB, it will limit his use.
Turpin is an established contributor who I believe this coaching staff recognizes should have been used more. There's a reason we gave him a three-year $13.5 million deal, and it's not just because he's a return man.
