Bo Nix breaks ankle

Welp it looks like Seattle will win another SB!
I have never waged a bet that could be a big money winner, but I would wager a nice sum of money that Seattle would win this year's Super Bowl by 14 points against any of the remaining AFC teams left in the tournament. New England being the favorite to be the opponent in the big game. Seattle will beat the winner of todays Rams - Bears game in the NFC Championship in route to the big game as well.

Explain.

When his knee hits, he has both hands on the ball. It’s not moving. So how is it not a catch?
I thought the catch had to be controlled "through the process".

Again when a "runner's knee is down"...he's DOWN.

Not true for a pass play.

How in the world is there apparently not a review there?

But karma burns the league office. Now they have an AFV Champ game where one team has to start a QB who has never really played. That should be a great game. LOL.
You never know, man. Weirder things have happened.

Im hoping for a Darnold vs Stidham SB matchup.

He rolls over to his back and still has the ball. It's only when McMillan rolls over the top does the then rip the ball out.

At what point is his "process" complete? LOL, does he need to stand up with the ball?

Yeah, when does the process end?

Denver won't make it with the backup QB starting, I would highly doubt it. I am pretty confident that Seattle will win it all. They look like the best team to me.

I know....

But just imagine that a few minutes before that play, he was one more game away from being a starting quarterback in the next Super Bowl....in his 2nd season.

Things weren't easy at first for Bo Nix when he got into the league last season. He received some criticism before the draft:

" ...on-field IQ needs polishing..."

"...displays sloppy mechanics and lacks pocket awareness, leading to questionable decisions under duress...."

".... locks onto primary reads and struggles with progressions..."

And , yet in only his 2nd season, he was deep into the playoffs.

Although Nix was drafted #12 overall, he was the 6th quarterback taken. Two of them are still in the playoffs, Caleb Williams drafted #1 overall and Drake Maye, drafted #3 overall. I'll bet Nix knows that.

In the second to last play Nix's potential immediate future went from winning the Super Bowl in his 2nd season to not even knowing if he will be ready for 2026.

That's a bummer.
It always sucks when we can't see teams at their full roster.....with Bo out of the rest of the playoffs its a disaster.

I been calling mm going to Pittsburgh for along time. Makes sense.

Agreed the ball looked secure with his knee down then it was ripped out of his hands by the momentum of the defender flipping over and pulling it.

It happened very fast but as the bills coach said they should have slowed it down and got it right.

Beyond that the officiating looked decent until the overtime with the pass interference calls they were letting them play on both sides up to then.

Something changed beyond our pay grade to know what happened
