Is this Bob Hayes's last chance? I hope we all live to see the day the World's Fastest Human is finally inducted into the NFL Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Hopefully he gets in. It would be a real shame if they pass him up again here, especially if this is really his last shot like I've heard.

I drove by the HOF 15 years ago because he was not in it...As much as I wanted to see it. That's my stance on this subject.

Plus, why is Lynn Swan there ?

I don't know exactly how this works, but Bullet's not competing against Woodson, Smith or Sharpe, is he? Since he's a Senior Committee candidate?

Who are the other senior candidates? Is it Humphrey, Kuechenberg and Grimm?

They will only put 5 in at a time regardless of the nominating process. So in effect he is competing against some of the others. At least that is my understanding. I could be wrong.

Either way, Bob NEEDS to be in the Hall.

He was a Steeler, made a few great catches and got a TV gig after his playing days were done.

That's the magic formula.

Swann isn't even in the top 50 for most major categories.

Swann averaged less than 40 receptions a season.

Swann made only 3 pro bowls.

Hard to embrace that kinda hatred.

That's the magic formula.

And the multi-billion dollar freaking NFL lost mt $20...

In the scheme of things, A minor drop in the bucket.

In the early 90's, I was a NY Knicks season ticket holder, Patrick Ewing, Oakley's car wash, John Starks...It was a blast ! Prior to that I was a Sixer's fan...Dr, J, Moses Malone and Bobby Jones.

I haven't watched an NBA game in 3 years

Please don't turn the NFL into the NBA.

I played football from 6 years old to 18 with pads...Wish I did the College thing. It has been my life through tackle games for years afterwards, but not like the same as games with ref and pads.

I do not want to hate this game like I learned to hate NBA. This has been my lifetime sport. Money and Media may change this, I guess I need to watch some local HS and College games.
