Trent Richardson and to a lesser extent Ingram and Lacy are hurting Henry's draft stock IMO. Would prefer Zeke but if we go elsewhere in round 1 would love Henry in the second

I don't think they are hurting his status.

He's an enormous back and being that size can hurt you. He probably compares best to Brandon Jacobs and Jacobs had a nice career, but I don't think he was 1st round worthy. Henry is intriguing. I think some of the things said about his running skills you could say about Murray when he was in college, just Henry is far bigger (but not as fast) at the same stage.

I'm not a big believer in drafting RB's high either, but I think Elliott's the best back to come out since AP. I have him higher than Gurley (largely due to him coming off the knee injury).

20 years old, still learning how to play the position and already this good. Behind our line, he can become legendary.

Me too. I see special qualities in Zeke. Combine his production, with his athleticism, body type and intangible skills (32 on the wonderlic is QB-level), and you have an all star

That 32 surprised me, he is going to special.

Elliott actually reminds me a lot of Emmitt in the intangible department. A determination and a focus. The heart and the mind.

Those are what helped make Emmitt great and I think they'll serve Zeke and his new team well.

Typically wouldn't want a back at #4 but I'll be fine if they take Elliott.

Teams with a power running game travel well. That was well proven in 2014 when Murray pounded opposing defenses, opening up the passing game, and taking pressure off the defense. What was one of the worst defenses in NFL history in 2013 developed into a solid unit that made plays in 2014.

The more I think about it, the more I want Dallas to take Elliott with the 4th overall pick and worry about the defense and the QB later in the draft.

If Elliott goes to the Giants, Big Blue could easily have a similar turnaround. Do you want that? Not me.

I've said it a million times as have others, but running back wasn't the issue last year. We sucked because Romo got hurt and he's a wizard, Harry. We also had a defense that could keep us in most games until it actually mattered and then they'd fold like a cheap card table.

Having said all of that, I would absolutely 100% be fine with taking Zeke. The more I read, the more I'm starting to think he could be the next AD. You put someone of that talent level that is that young behind this line? My goodness.

I agree. Considering the Cowboys were trying to get peterson with his salary. I don't think they mind paying a rookie the rookie salary. 4 days from knowing
