Are you mental?
Right in the first sentence of my post I said he played well on the road against Stanford and later noted that every time he pulled them close in that game their defense or ST's would give up a huge play. Stanford, the team that finished 3rd in the country that is. As for the UCLA game, he moved the ball well enough early on but their defense gave up points on drive after drive, he played well in garbage time too but what do you want him to do, not play well?
It wasn't his best game but you implied he didn't play well against the PAC-12 because they had him figured out, that was clearly not the case.
Jack is an excellent prospect that I've had my eye on since last season. I know he's likely to run in the 4.5 area, maybe lower at the Combine. Fantastic athlete, one of the best coverage LB's I've ever seen in college, I think he has the coverage ability of an old school SS playing at LB, which is extremely rare. I'd be happy enough with him at 4, my point is that it's comical to me that you act like he is some sure fire, no brainer pick when he missed his entire Junior year and has never been ultra productive in terms of stats like a guy like Kuechly was.
Goff is right there with him as a prospect, both have clear traits that transfer to the NFL, you just refuse to see them in Goff because you want to cling to Romo and the fairy tale that is finding a franchise QB in the 6th round or later. Just because people hit the lottery doesn't mean you should bank on the lottery for your retirement.
