Mostly his head coach thinks no one else can tackle in Special Teams.

To me it's a good thing. We're so loaded at LB that our top pick must wait his turn. Burnett and Jame were on it today. Singleton caused VY to fumble. But I am a little disappointed that Ware's name wasn't mentioned more, if you know what I mean.

I thought Ware did a good job. He stayed in his containment and didn't let much get around him. He forced alot back inside by holding his ground.

His problem is that he was drafted to fill a need when we didn't know how well Ellis would trasnition and Burnett would bounce back.

When was the last time a Cowboy team was this deep at any position?

Dang we are going to break our arms patting ourselves on the back. You can spin it any way you want, but when a 1st rounder is perfectly healthy and he's not deemed good enough to suit up on Sundays, it's a disappointment.

3 games into the season, with the guys that are playing in front of him, when you consider the b ig picture its not dissappointing at all. He was the only rookie signed to a 6 year contract, that says more to me than his not playing.

Agreed...Carpenter should be playing regardless.

then we shouldn't have picked a LB with our 1st pick then.

Disagree. If he isn't the best player we have in whatever role he'd play in the game then he should sit. This team stank for years because guys would be played because of their draft status. It seemed like we gave busted picks a chance to show everyone how smart Jerry was.

Yeah, but will Ellis and Singleton still be Cowboys next year?

Carpenter is definitely the future at SOLB.

That is not spinning that is just telling it like it is. We didn't know last April what we know now. You can't fault the Cowboys for not being able to know how things would work out.

and what game experience have you seen from him to give you this assurance?

"hope" is one thing but let's not overstate his accomplishments till he at least has some.

We're so loaded at LBer that castoffs Shanle and Fujita actually start for N.O. on a pretty solid (3-1) defense.

Hope and Despair both work off the same amount of faith and that's about all anyone has to go on at this point in the game. Give it a year at least before you start saying bust...

And it's too early to worry about it anyway. The Cowboys ran wild today and nobody lost an eye. Just be happy about that. :)
