Well, better hope Carp has a breakout year because the pickin's are slim after him. The talk of Williams taking his place is bizarre at best.

I have zero confidence in him and I oh so hope I'm wrong. But it's not his talent. He has the talent to do this job. He does not have the mentality IMO. If he bucks up and gets more physical then he could be above average to a star. He's that talented physically. He just hasn't shown much for making plays and that's the bottom line.

Right now I'll settle for contributing to the team if Carpenter can do that this year that is a step in the right direction for him.

I was one who will admit I was happy we drafted Carpenter. I still have hope that he can do well. It is really hard to do well if a coach doesn't let you play. The way Zac got pushed around last year I cannot believe that he was that much better than Carp at the inside. Secondly was Burnette so good at OLB Carp couldn't get time. I think its a good example of poor coaching and lack of building depth.
