I thought this was an interesting read before the draft.
He's got GREAT speed and we all know the kind of help Dallas needs in the secondary. If he's still available (and I haven't seen that he was picked up by another team yet) I think he's definately worth a look this summer.

I would have no problem bringing him in for a looksee, but I wouldn't expect much to come of it. I think he would be waayyyy to raw to make even the practice squad.

He sounds like an athlete looking for a position. But with that speed I'd be surprised he doesn't get a looksee somewhere. What's his hand size? Anyone know his coverage abilities. Could also be looked at for safety. Best he can do is likely find a PS job for a year and hope to learn enough to move up in a year or so.

I don't know that i'd call it a strength yet.


I'll give you Hamlin and T-New, but as for the rest....
Henry can't be counted on to make it through the entire season.
Packman may or may not be available only God and the commish know for sure.
Pro-Bowls or not Williams is an overpaid enigma.
Watkins and Brown are works in progress.
Jenkins and Ball are total unknowns at this level.


Tatum was good enough to be recruited to an elite school (UT where he as expected to become a starter), has blazing speed (without a doubt he'd be the fast guy in the secondary) and he's got NFL blood (great uncle Jack Tatum). There was a similar article about the kid from TT the day before or the day after this one. I was hoping for the local card to play in his favor as it does for so many guys in Dallas.

With loads of potential it seems like he'd be a good addition before TC.
