Ya, I can't imagine what a stressfull process the draft can be for a player that falls.

Especially with all these a holes blowing smoke up your butt.

It's always cool to hear guys who are exited, going nuts after they get drafted.

He seemed passive, even disappointed.

I am sure it is a roller coaster ride of emotion

Mel Kiper has him rated as his 9th best CB this year, just before Patrick Lee.

Fast, shy's away from contact. I see poor mans Jaque Reeves.

Really because watching him Boise I wouldn't say he shys away from contact. He was always good in run support NOT GREAT but not horrible. And I will say to me he is a better overall CB than Reeves at a young age but we will see.

I think he just wanted to go earlier. Plus, he might not have been the biggest Cowboy fan either. Imagine if you were a Cowboy fan, and the Skins drafted you.

Wouldn't happen, there's no amount of money. :lmao2:

I would have to talk to jerry and tell him I would play for league minimum and "tryout" every year.

Of course he's disappointed. If he had gone in the 3rd like he was hoping he would be guaranteed about $1M and would make the team. Big difference between 3rd and 5th round.

He's a special teams ace who can hopefully grow into a nickel corner.

What we did was add serious speed through this draft.

Scandrick, Felix Jones and Mike Jenkins can flat out fly.

We also got great value at our selections. Seemed to double up everywhere but hard to complain about the value of these guys.

Never heard of Scandrick having off the field issues. And that would be pretty hard to hide in a small city like Boise (I live about a mile from the stadium).
I have seen him lay a few good licks on WRs, too.
Not sure where the info contradicting this came from, unless someone wasn't prepared and was pulling things out of thin air.
I assume the OP's videos were of the Hawaii game Scandrick's frosh season. That was a pretty unreal performance.
I got the feeling Scandrick didn't feel challenged on the field last season and he didn't seem to be the player he was the first 2 seasons at BSU.
He may have the potential to be a much faster version of Keith Davis.

Well at least that will buy him one supporter from this board. I don't to name any names but I think someone might have found a new favorite player to take the place of Reeves.

Wade mentioned that a lot of teams carry 5 corner 5 safetys. He said in this case he may consider carrying 4 safetys and 6 corners. That would mean we will cut either ball or that guy who came from the ravens. Maybe they may throw in courtney brown in the mix and put one of them at safety. Be interesting to see and a good problem to have.

My guess is we keep Newman, Henry, Jones, Jenkins, Scandrick, Ball at CB

And Williams, Hamlin, Brown, Watkins at S

As a Hawaii alum, he was a pain in our butt and almost singlehandedly cost us the 2005 game

That being said, I welcome him with open arms to the Cowboys and think he'll be a nice replacement for Killa.

It's kinda ironic considering Colt Brennan is now a Commander. As much as I want him to succeed, he's now the enemy and I can't cheer for him in good faith.
