Bon Jovi's reported interest in purchasing the Buffalo Bills is well-documented, but a report on Saturday suggests that the rockstar could be teaming up with Hall of Fame Bills quarterback Jim Kelly to purchase the team.

Longtime Bills owner Ralph Wilson passed away in May at 95 years old.

Bon Jovi's Toronto-based group has had discussions with Kelly over the past week, and the 54-year-old five-time Pro Bowler is interested in a possible deal. Kelly and his brother, Dan, reportedly want the following if they strike a deal to co-own the team: "Two percent equity in the team, lifetime jobs for Jim and Dan, an up-front cash payment for their services and final say on all football decisions."

Interesting strategy using Jim Kelly as face of franchise and getting final say on all football decisions with no equity. Guess Bon Jovi would be trying to sell western NY on them not having intent to move the franchise.

I thought Kelly was real sick?

He has been very recently receiving cancer treatment. What type of cancer he has I don't know or even his current condition.

I guess from this news though one can presume he is intent on living & beating cancer.

He seems loved by many in the NFL. One of the good guys.
