Both Phil and NYG in the playoffs also?

I imagine this is the most likely scenario. Phil wins 1 of two, and the Giants win out, and Atl chokes. This would truly be disgusting if both the Eagles and Giants make it into the playoffs! Playing them twice a year is bad enough. I don't want to see either of those teams again.

If that happens we'd have the #2 seed, and I think the rest would give us time to prepare against anyone in our division.

If I'm not mistaken, if we're the #2 seed, we wouldn't play either the 5th or 6th seed unless both of them won their respective wild card games. If that happened we would then play the 5th seed. Basically what I'm saying is that even if they both get in, we still probably won't play either of them.

I want another crack at New Orleans. Take solace in the fact that the Cowboys will be better prepared the next time. Parcells will be ready for all the JAP plays.

Rematches can be different. Recall when New England was in a playoff run, and they got thumped by the Steelers in the regular season. They saw the Steelers again in the playoffs, and beat the crap out of them in their own house (AFC Champ game).

Not saying that our results would be similar, but I do think that a rematch can be interesting.

Who's this Phil and why would he singlehandedly leap frog a plethora of crappy NFC teams for a playoff spot?

Parcells said it best in his news conference when he said that he wasn't surprised at all by the performance of the NFCE teams, including Washington. He basically said our division was the toughest in the NFC and that any team in the division could easily beat any other team in the NFC - including Washington. I believe his comments were specifically about Washington beating NO.

After the thumping we took, I'd only worry about facing NO. I wonder if BP has any tricks up his sleeve that he could unleash to win. Brees against no pass rush again would ruin my 2007 start.

The Giants are in a tail spin up here.
They can't even beat the Eagles who they seem to own every year.
Their offense looks bad.
Eli does not throw the same way he did in the beginning of the year.
Their killer DE's have been hurt and not up to 100% either.

There isn't one NFC team that I fear more than another in the playoffs.

For me, the biggest thing is whether the Cowboys can sneak into that #2 seed and get a bye. I don't like the Cowboys chances of making the Super Bowl if they don't get that bye (and at least one game at home).

this will be a bad day for the saints or the cowboys. for some reason i just dont see both of them winning their games. If the saints win, dallas will lose. If the saints lose, dallas will win.

it would be great if the NFC East had 3 playoff teams... the NFC East rises again!

Agreed on wanting to face NO again.

When we got our first under Jimmy, we had to go the tough route through SF. If we have the cajones to do it this year, let's do it and leave no doubt. We can then dance on the graves of the haters.

No way. I want NO.

Time for redemption.

Brees and Co won't be dinking and dunking us again. If they do, we don't deserve to move on.
