As a self-appointed voice of reason, this one really did stink. There are no excuses for that mess or what we have done over the last 4 games.vicjagger;1274312 said:

First, nobody in the NFC with the possible exception of New Orleans is worth a darn. Second, changes will be made in the offseason -- for all his faults, JJ isn't going to put with this crap. And we are a very financially healthy club. Third, we have acquired a lot of talent over the last 4 years or so. Of course, a lot of that talent is now deeply suspect but we've got good young players on our team to build around. Fourth, it can always get worse. You don't have to look very far -- either into our past at previous turd-like teams or across the division at teams like the Commanders -- to find a team in much worse shape than ours. Fifth, things are very fluid in today's NFL. Just because we've stunk for the last 4 weeks does not mean we will stink next season.
