I am not really into "statement" games but I think this is the perfect time for Garrett to "outsmart" a fellow coach.

Payton came to Dallas and taught the teacher (Parcells) a lesson. Hope that Garrett has that eye of the tiger... Pedal to the metal.,,, game no prisoners approach on Sunday!

I haven't seen Garrett's genius yet and I'm afraid to say it just doesn't exist on the field. When he was the OC his offense was very predictable.

This was one of the more disappointing aspects regarding JG (for me). Initially, I loved the hire bc of his Princeton credentials, mixed with football experience linked to our glory days. The Offenses before Linney were largely bland and lacked any creativity regarding the passing game and play-calling. He wanted to run the 90's timing offense with limited flexibility and put the burden largely on the players (mainly Romo) to make it work. I am not joking when I consider Romo to be the true play caller throughout his tenure (when points are needed = mass audibles pre snap were all Romo's doing). Disappointed to say the least

Yea, I am not sure what the OP is referring to either. All I have seen is a head coach that blows 2 games a year due to horrific game management. Even the owner of the team acknowledges the blunders and uses the blunders as a reason to keep said head coach because he does not want another team benefiting from "all the learning from those mistakes".

That is not what you call a "genius".............................................my .02

Wouldn't be a fair fight. Oppie isn't allowed to call plays anymore.

Funny thing is when Payton was here I remember hearing similar things.

Linehan vs Ryan is what should win us this ball game.

That's my point. Does he finally get it, turn the corner?

Game will be decided by how well Dallas defends the middle of the field versus the pass. Cooks is a bad match up for Dallas as is Graham.
