A closer inspection of the 2008 season reveals the Dallas Cowboys could use some help on the defensive line. Here's a look at the elite an mid-level tackles that willl be available in free agency this offseason.

That's exactly what I thought. The 'Boys priority is getting enough money under the cap to pay Ware, and maybe Canty. So, don't look for them to be players in this year's FA pool. Just sit this one out JJ, and take care of business at home.

Can't read the article but yes Dallas may want to sign a DT... however if they do it will not a super expensive one like Haynesworth.

I'd be interested in their mid level guys, not Haynesworth who is to DT what Ware is to OLB(except with a big dose of knucklehead mixed in).

Big Al is best suited for a 4-3 defense. Paying him a small fortune to play NT in a 3-4 would be just dumb.

Especially since our current NT just made the probowl.
