Why does it seem as if every time a big name free agent is out there the media seems to automatically attach him to Dallas regardless of the financial situation?

Because Jerry has proven time and again that he just can't control himself.

No to Al Steponandregurode'sfaceworth. Man, TO is more than enough, but at least he never maimed a Cowboy on purpose. Can't we have SOME pride???

I know someone very, very well who is a very good friend of Albert. And I've known vicariously thru that person since early high school. He's a good kid who did a stupid thing. You haven't heard anything since about him for a reason. He's a quality person despite his awful mistake.

Wow Thumper, you've been grumpy lately. I guess this losing season has affected everyone.

Yeah, this season really put me on the rag.

That and my wife is going through the early stages of menopause, so you can imagine what I'm going through at home.

But thanks for noticing that I'm no always like this. :D

I wonder if we couldn't get a guy like a Jason Fergu... oh, wait.

Tank Johnson for Jason Ferguson was HORRIBLE.

Now that one cracked me up... oh wait, that sucks! :bang2:

Well its not so silly when you consider a few things:

1) Ratliff is more suited to 3-4 DE than NT.

2) The money it is said Canty wants.

3) Haynesworth is a 2 gap DT. He's huge and strong. The roll he plays as DT in Ten's 4-3 is similar to the role he'd play as NT with us.

4) NT is the single most important position in a 3-4. When your NT is dominating the opposing teams C, dictating an almost constant double team, all the percentages fall on your side.

IF we were going to spend BIG dollars on any other defensive player in addition to Ware, I'd want it to be for a young All-Pro NT like Haynesworth.

i agree with this guy i said the same thing after the baltimore game.... ratliff had what 7 sacks from the nose just think what he can do from the de in the 3-4 get rid of tank and canty keep spears or vice versa haynesworth is a force in the middle with him bradie james and whoever else is the other mlb will probably be the leading tacklers because al requires a double team block and takes some much space that the backers will roam free.... but i also agree with the salary cap complications so yea this is impossible but keep in mind titans de is gone so he probably wont resign with them
