It was a typical big game choke by our defense. How many 3rd and longs did the Pats convert? Trailing by 4 and Barber converts the 4th down and idiot Koser tackles the LB. Pathetic but typical.

They are far behind the Pats. The Pats are offensive machines. O well..

Yeah our Defense sucks. Never mind that our Offense couldn't convert third downs and went 3 & out basically the whole game. Never mind that we were playing the best team in football. Never mind that coming in to this game we had the #1 ranked Defense.

You know? Never mind!

well, we are not 100% healthy and the refs did us no favors all game long. We all knew that the offense would have to step up and give the D a break, they can only hold em and stay out on the field for so long.

when you're on the field for 40 minutes you get worn down, period.

We led the game in the 3rd quarter, yet we're "not even close"? Makes no sense.

:hammer:

The offense could not get anything together to keep the D off the filed. Your D can hold up against a good offense for so long before they get worn out.

The reason the defense was on the field was because they couldn't get off the field. I've never seen anyone convert so many 3rd downs.

Exactly, before Stallworth's TD, we were very close, after that, it went crazy.

We led the game near the end of the third qtr. So we were close. BUT we could not get enough pressure on Brady and we could not run or would not try and run the ball enough to give our D some rest.

JuJo ran wild on them and we marched 84 yards to score..then the very next offensive possesion we throw on 1st down from our own 15...Flozell gets called for holding and that was ball game....WHY DID we call a pass play on first down in that situation?

I think this is a lot of over reaction. The difference in the game today was experience. We had way too many penalties and not enough experience. Talent wise, we match up pretty well with this team.

The defense was on the field way too long. It took a quarter for us to start playing because we were affraid of the white elephant. We'll be OK. It's fine.

I'm pretty calm right now. we'll get it together and hopwefully if we meet the Pats again we can turn the tables on them

I'm more concerned with the decision to kick a FG when we clearly needed two scores either way. That was a Parcells call.

Who isn't far behind the Pats? Maybe the Colts but they may not be near as good as the Pats.

I had us losing by double digits, so I thought we still had some work to do before this team could be considered "on par" with New England.

Welker and Watson worried me coming in, particularly Wes Welker. Donte Stallworth going off was something else. Brady was his usual brilliant self in terms of distribution, although he only completed 67 percent today. :p
